Riverhouse disaster
I am a frequent VRBO user. This was a disaster. I arrived and the house looked nothing like the photos. It had weeds up to my knees. The property looked as if it had been abandoned for months. I tried to enter the property and the combo did not work. I tried to get in touch with the listing manager but they didn’t respond to me for some time. I kept trying the lock but it didn’t work. The owner ( or whoever the person was) finally contacted me after an hour or so and could not offer any assistance or solution. I had googled the name of the lock and had watched a you tube video about how to operate the lock and saw that a red light was blinking on the combo lock which indicated the battery needed to be replaced. I told the owner and he said he had changed the battery recently. It looked like the property had been neglected for some time. We left the property and looked for a hotel nearby. I have always had very good experiences with VRBO, however this experience really broke the mold. I am hoping to get a full refund.
