We went to San Diego to get my kid from the Marine Basic and needed space for 6. The property was clean and provided just enough space. Communication was great and it was close enough to walk to some fun places.

We loved our stay in San Diego! The location was very convenient for both driving and walking distance options. We walked to get coffee every morning and had an easy drive with access to the highway, shopping, and downtown locations. The house was well equipped with kitchen supplies if needed and every appliance you could need, as well as toiletries and other needs. Beds were comfy. The two front bedrooms were a little warm due to the heatwave during our stay but a fan was provided to help keep air moving from the living room ac. Having on site parking was incredibly convenient! We had a great week and would absolutely stay again.

The house is in a great location. There is only one mini split in the main area and then in the back bedroom. Other rooms got a little warm if you like to sleepy with the door closed. Other than that it's a great house and close to attractions.

The host was very quick to respond, the location was central to all the activities we had planned, our party of 4 adults and 2 little kids had a lovely stay! We would recommend this property.

Perfect house for 3 adults or a family; each has their own room and share 2 bathrooms. Close to lots of cafes and coffee shops and to Balboa Park. David, the host, was quick to respond and was very nice.

What I didn’t like about this house was no fan or AC in the middle room, only fan in the first room, and hate dealing with Ants, beds where not that comfortable and bed frame in the first room came me a huge bruise, bumping into it quite often. Otherwise great location and great host.

Our host was excellent. He provided a crib, but when the cleaning service locked it in a closet, he came immediately to help. The neighborhood is safe and centrally located to see the sights. 2 of the 3 bedrooms did not have AC, but one of those has a ceiling fan. Kitchen was well equipped, and the living room and outdoor shaded patio are very welcoming. I'd stay here again!

Decorated / partially furnished with what appears to be a Japanese motif. As such, 2 of the 3 beds are lower than normal; one is actually almost on the floor. Master bed is also extremely uncomfortable as it sinks quite a bit in the middle. Otherwise, the property was fine. Side note, The AC is a minisplit system with 2 heads. There is one in the "master" bedroom and the other head is located in the living room and has to cover the rest of the house, i.e. living room, kitchen, and the 2 other bedrooms. SD doesn't typically get too hot so, it may not be a problem but, if you like it really cool in the house, it might be an issue.

Overall the house was nice. Has all the things you might need in the home. The beds were not super comfortable and I wouldn’t say it’s a family friendly neighborhood. The area is kind of run down, apartments surround the home and neighbors yelling, so it was not very comfortable having my kids outside. Even in the backyard area. The house next door was overgrown and needed cleaning up.

It was a cute, clean, cozy, and comfortable home with everything we needed for our stay. The house was in a safe neighborhood near the airport, restaurants, and local attractions. The host was quick to respond to our inquiries. The patio was also beautifully decorated with live plants and the home was nicely decorated with artwork and fitted with comfortable furniture. The host also left us handmade cards , which was a really thoughtful touch. A binder with house information such as WiFi, thermostat, and check in and check instructions would have been helpful, but overall, we had a comfortable stay and would rent here again.

10 out of 10 from us! Perfect for our family of 4 - the teens were thrilled to have their own rooms.SPOTLESS when we arrived, and stocked with essentials, plus a game cabinet. :)David our host was a quick communicator, which we so appreciated.The location is ideal for families; easy walking within blocks to a grocery store and variety of brunch and lunch options. Short walk to Kensington for even more dining. Easy drive to everywhere; zoo, beaches, and downtown, nothing was more than 15-20min away. We loved our stay here and hope it’s available next time we come to the west coast!

We also own Zen Sanctuary, a holistic spa in the neighboring Kensington. Walking distance from the house. We offer massage, acupuncture and skin care. We have 7 treatment rooms and are open from 9-9 seven days a week.
