Beautiful views here. Close to everything, great location. Beds were comfortable. Condo was clean. We love Summer House, pool is wonderful. Beach is not too crowded here.

Everything would have been perfect had the floor and furniture been cleaner. Walking barefoot left our feet black. The lounger was so sandy I had to turn the cushion over.We loved the spaciousness, views , even the security guard,Johnny was super friendly! Hopefully will return!

Great getaway!

This is a wonderful condo on the corner with a perfect beach view. The large wraparound porch allows for morning coffee with a beautiful view. There is plenty of room. We stayed with 6 comfortably. All the amenities are there, including an ice maker which made cooler packing a breeze. We had a great, relaxing stay, and will definitely come back!

Beautiful Gulf View

We loved the view from this unit and all of the amenities that the property offered. We also loved how close we were to the pool and beach. The inside of the unit was very clean and had plenty of space for our family. A few things could stand to be replaced(the coffee table, a lamp and the cushions on the outdoor furniture) but other than that we really enjoyed staying at Summer House

Summer House A

We enjoyed our stay, there was a housekeeping issue when we arrived but the owners took care of it ASAP and they were very easy to deal with. The only downside was that it under construction on the outside and we weren’t notice about that until the week before our trip and one of the elevators didn’t regularly work and we were on the 12th floor. The inside condo was great with a great view and balcony. We would stay again.

Beautiful condo with a spectacular view.

The condo was exactly as was represented on the listing. It was very clean and the interior design was outstanding and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook in. There were plenty of luxury bath, hand towels and wash cloths supplied. The added bonus was the corner location which offered a great view in two directions of the beach and ocean. Would recommend this condo to everyone.

Great property, noisy construction

The property and location was as described. There was no mention of daily construction of the adjacent tower. Jack hammers and construction equipment from 8 to 4. Appears to be a long term project.

Beautiful views

We had a great stay at Summer House. 1201A was super clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is perfect and close to many shops and restaurants. The balcony and view were the best part. The outside of the building could use a little facelift but the inside was updated beautifully. The only complaint we had was the hot water was not the best. Barely one person could get through a shower without losing hot water. But overall, this condo is fabulous.

Overall a good stay just annoyed with construction impeding entrance point to pool and overall layout of amenities (hot tub and indoor pool across parking lot in separate building). The room is spacious but left a bit to be desired on cleaning when a cleaning fee was paid. Has good vibes just needs a few improvements to make it ideal for everyone. Good location in light of few drawbacks

Excellent Vacation Rental

Rental was as advertised on listing. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Summerhouse 1201A. The views were great and the place was clean. All amenities were in working order. Being on the 12th floor I was worried about long lines for the elevators but they were fast. The only things I would suggest is a little updating on the outside of the building and maybe adding more mirrors throughout the rental. It was difficult having 6 teenage girls and only 3 mirrors throughout. Definitely would stay again and recommend this place to others!

Beautiful view

Super beautiful condo with lots of space. Elevators are quick. Check in was easy. I do wish there were towel hooks around the condo and some extra blankets. The beds are pretty hard other than in the double queen room and none of the headboards are attached to the walls so it be annoying if you rolled over suddenly. Overall, a really nice place to stay. Walmart is right down the road so groceries were a breeze. There are also several carts to help get things up the room. We would stay again.

Awful management company

We had a good stay but Alabama Vacation Rentals did not respond to texts, phone calls or voicemails in a timely fashion. I could not recommend any property with this management company to anyone.

Family vacation.

My family of 4 and my sisters family of 4 stayed in this condo. We adored it. Plenty of room for us all and especially the 4 kids ranging from 6 months to 9. The views were phenomenal they even had a beach wagon and beach chairs to take down to the beach. Two box fans in the closets which we highly appreciated bc who doesn’t love a box fan at night 😂 easy check in and check out. Supper accommodating when there was a miscommunication on our arrival date. They were fantastic to work with and made our vacation stress free and none of us wanted to leave at the end of the week!! **also the ice maker was a game changer for filing up coolers to take to the beach each day!! Kudos on that one!!!

Great View and Good Amenities.

Summerhouse Condo is a well updated unit. The wrap around patio and large windows make this a great place to stay and enjoy the Beach. The complex itself is maintained well and in a good location along the beach. We did leave some non perishable items and I hope they don't get thrown out as they are items that you only need a little of, like salt and pepper and half a bag of charcoal. Communication with property management occurred via text. I think my only complaint was that we arrived 15 minutes before check in and it seemed that the text with the access code arrived exactly at 4pm (check in time). Management knew we were there as I texted them upon arrival and they responded. It would have been nice to access the unit when we got there rather than wait.

Great condo with wonderful views from the balcony

We loved this Condo. Large balcony with doors from each bedroom to the outside. Pit group and table and chairs to sit on outside, so lots of seating area. Full wagon on balcony to use with boogie boards, sand toys, and chairs to take to the beach. The beds were all comfortable and had nice linens on them. Kitchen had everything we needed, but no spices or items left from other guest to use when you cook. But it does have all the equipment and utensils needed. The one thing we missed most was no ice maker in the freezer. Unit was on the 12th floor, but elevators were always quick, with little wait. We even took the stairs occasionally. Construction was going on during our stay, but never had any problems, nor did it affect our stay at all. We will be coming back!

Great stay overall

The condo was a great size, clean and beautifully decorated. The balcony is everything!! It was equipped with lots of sand toys and chairs which was so great! The negatives are: 1) it advertised a pull out queen couch. We had 10 people so we needed that pull out couch. When I contacted the property management company they said maybe there is a blow up bed in the closet. We look and found it however we could not find a cord to plug it in. Luckily we brought our own just in case. 2) the kitchen did not have a skillet to cook in. I let the property management company's know and they said they would get one. However it did not arrive. The kitchen had a little one egg skillet but no skillet to prepare a meal. We however brought an electric skillet with us. The property managing company was very responsive when I reached out. Overall the place is spectacular! Beautiful view and easy access to the beach.

Just what we needed

Our initial impression upon arrival was not the best. I texted with estimated arrival time, as requested, but didn’t receive a response until I reached out again and was told we could not check in even 10 minutes early. A little annoying, but you can’t always expect early check-in. The building itself appears old and some areas of disrepair, but the condo was updated and appealing. The contractor that did the work was obviously in a hurry because some of the work is sloppy (crown molding that just stops, grout all over tile, shoebase not even painted), but I only notice those things because I’ve been around contractors half of my life. The air conditioner duct also appeared to be leaking into the upper cabinet to the left of the stove, as I had to leave a towel there at all times to catch the water dropping. The beds were all very comfortable, the sofa was great for snuggling up to watch a scary movie and the balcony was great. Plenty of space for everyone to hang out. The real winner was the ice maker! That was a nice surprise. We loved that the unit was close to the pool and the boardwalk to the beach was short. The company that has the beach chair setup provides those wooden sling type chairs, not the nice cushioned lounge chairs that many places do, just fyi. Overall we really enjoyed our time and wound definitely stay again.

Beautiful condo and breathtaking beach view

The condo was beautiful and perfect for our family. Don’t worry - the outside of the building could use a facelift, but the condo itself is decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. Kitchen is fully stocked with items needed to cook. We loved the beach wagon filled with chairs and a few toys for the kids. The views from the patio were hands down our favorite part. The owner was easy to work with and responded to messages almost immediately. We will be back!
