Amazing spot to stay. I stayed over New years and had a great time. Only issue I have is the road noise. I could hear it in the morning .

Beautiful Venue But......Security Is An Issue!!

The actual venue was really clean. And the staff was really great. The major concern we had was one of the nights (my birthday) we found a women in our room! When we returned our keys did not work. We were give 3 sets of keys to try and none of those worked. Ron (who was really great) was able to open the door with a master key (not the electronic type but a manual key) and the door opened but only enough for us to see the security latch was on. A lady answered and told us that someone had given her a key to use the room. All of our items were thrown about. She was attempting to take our passports. The cops were called and she was taken to jail on a warrant. Lucky nothing was missing. We were moved to another room but we were on edge the remained of our stay. We didn't venture out the last two days we were in town and had a very difficult time sleeping. I did speak with the manager and she could not give us a reason as to how or why this happened. She offered a courtesy on the room fee but was not able to do it on her end. Redirected me to VRBO, which is whom I booked the room with.

Hello Ashley, we were very sorry to hear of this rare and terrible occurrence that happened during your recent stay at this hotel. This is certainly not the experience we would expect nor wish for any of our guests and do pass along our partner's most sincere apologies for how this could have happened on their end. As discussed between us, we did refund you the entire amount of your stay immediately upon hearing from you and after confirmation with on-site management. We understand that this cannot make up for the negative experience you had at the property, but do hope that this has been acknowledged. Regards, the Leavetown Team
