By far the cleanest rental I’ve stayed in! Such a cute home with so many available amenities! I was impressed with how comfortable the beds were and how strong the water pressure in the shower was. Little things like this made our stay even better! Cindy and John were always quick to respond! We would definitely stay here again!

Cute & cozy little house. We really enjoyed staying there. Wish we could have stayed longer. The house had everything you might ever need. John & Cindy have thought of everything. Responding was quick if I had a question. Location was close the downtown. And great local restaurants! We will stay there again if we get this way again. And will recommend to my family and frequently! Thank you for a great experience!

We had a wonderful stay at the modern farmhouse! The home was so cozy and had everything we needed. The location is awesome and just a short drive to everything we wanted to do. It was so nice to go back to the house after being out and about. We loved the backyard and having movie nights. Highly recommend!

Cozy and Comfortable!

I spent 10 days here and I could have spent 100 more. The hosts were thoughtful and kind (a birthday cake was waiting for my son in the fridge). The house was close to everything I needed — Old Colorado City, UCCS, Garden of the Gods, shopping, grocery stores, etc. The house was well stocked with towels, soaps, dishes, and snacks! I’d happily stay here again.

Perfect little house to stay in - highly recommended

Best stocked ST rental we have ever been in - they thought of everything and then some! Firewood for the pit, a smores kit, gas grill, games, great selection of coffees, condiments, cooking utensils, laundry needs, etc etc. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, the air conditioning worked great, the bed, sofa and chair were all very comfortable. The house is very old, so there were a few very minor quibbles that come along with such an old house but nothing that bothered us. It has been nicely modernized while keeping the old charm. Communication with the host was excellent. We cooked meals in the house each morning and thoroughly enjoyed grilling and eating outside in the lovely back yard each evening.

Perfect Home Away From Home

This beautiful home met all our needs! John and Cindy are wonderful hosts, filling the house with so many amenities and extra touches. We felt welcomed the minute we stepped thru the door and were greeted by soothing music and a personalized note on a greeting board. From the well-stocked coffee/tea bar in the kitchen, the premium linens and towels in the bedrooms and bathroom, and the comfortable living space to the amazing backyard complete with a fire pit and yard games, this property truly is a great place to stay. It is in a quiet location close to OCC downtown. We will definitely stay here again!

Great Stay

Great location, was centrally located to everything we wanted to do in town. Both bedrooms would comfortably fit two adults. Well stocked with everything you could need during your stay. We would stay here again if we are back in the area.

Great place!

We had such a lovely time here. The house felt like a home away from home and so close to Garden of the Gods and Pike's Peak. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay inColorado Springs. We would definitely come here again!

Lovely place with perfect location

My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary trip. John and Cindy are fantastic in both their maintenance of the property and communications! We were so completely comfortable and really appreciated how centrally located the property is.

Special place!

We loved staying in this home. Every little detail was special. Cindy and John have taken such great care to make you feel at home- from the welcome sign, to a special note left, to all the snacks - it was my favorite VRBO rental I've stayed in. They have the gift of hospitality. It had all that we needed and some extra!! The backyard area had so much to do with yard games and fire pit. I was just sad we had a full weekend as we were here for a funeral and couldn't use it all. We would love to come back and stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in this Modern Farmhouse. The owners were so thoughtful with the Christmas decorations, greetings, etc. It was a great location for us easily accessing most things in short distance.

One of the best VRBOs ever!

This VRBO is truly one of the best we have ever stayed in! From the GREAT communication with the owners to the beautiful way the house is decorated to the awesome coffee bar, everything was thought of and well done! Even with a mishap with the water heater that they were quick to address, I loved our stay. Great location, great decor, beautiful backyard, welcoming front yard, and well-stocked kitchen, I would highly recommend this VRBO!

5 Stars are not enough

My husband and I have travelled from Maine to Florida, Cape Cod to California and many places/states in between. Modern Farmhouse was one of the best, if not THE BEST, place we've stayed. Cindy and John personalize your stay. They make sure you have everything you need for your stay! The Modern Farmhouse is an incredible place to unwind at the end of the day!
