Our stay was absolutely perfect!

Great location and amenities

This is a perfect location for a stay in Gatlinburg. It's within walking distance to the strip and easy access in and out with a car. The amenities are perfect for two couples or a family of four.

Family trip

A little farther from the main drag than described but plenty of room for our family of five. Recommend some cleaning, sealing around the master shower and a new master mattress.

Home away from home!

Reservations were quick and very easy. Check in and out were simple since nothing was required. Parking is sheltered and near the elevator. The rooms are spacious and very quiet. Oh and all rooms have a balcony with a nice view.

Nice and clean apartment on mountain

Sadly we spent only one night and was raining , but was perfect , clean, clear , the beds amazing and we rested very well after a crazy day. we couldn’t enjoy the pool and all the amenities.

Keepin it quiet

We have been staying at Baskin Creek for almost 20 years. Would love to keep this gem a secret to ensure it continues to be available for our future family trips. But I have to tell everyone what a wonderful place this is. Close enough to walk into town and far enough to enjoy the peaceful balcony over the pool area. Great respite after a big hike in the park or a day of shopping.

Great location

Pros are location, space, view. Furnishings need some refreshing and the master bathroom is in need of repair from water damage near the shower at the baseboards. Causes the whole bathroom to smell like mildew. All-around a good place to stay. We’ll be back.

Nice family trip

Property is in an excellent location next to the strip and very well maintained. Everything we needed for the trip was there. A minor issue was that the seal on the bottom of the master shower door was missing. The floor was soaked after we used it the first time, so we opted for the guest shower moving forward. Highly recommend this property/unit and would definitely go back.

Just okay

We have stayed at several other properties in the same building. Pictures of this unit are not up to date with how the unit truly looks. Couches are well used and cushions are matted down, carpet is stained, kitchen amenities could be better for the amount paid to stay in unit.

Gatlinburg was nice, apartment not so much.

Dirty carpet, dirty furnishings. Not able to sit on the sofa or armchair without bed sheets as a cover, sink in the bathroom was not draining. This is not my first stay in Basking C apartments, but i will think long and hard before returning there( this unit in particular).

Needs updated!

Our condo was clean , however the furniture needs updated terribly and the kitchen sink faucet barely had a stream of water. The jets didn’t all work in the tub and master bath shower head couldn’t be moved and water only hit the wall therefore wasn’t able to use.The code to get in the elevator was so long that several of us would be trying to get the code just to get on and was very difficult when holding shopping bags The condo itself was nice and the walk isn’t that far to downtown. We saw bears two of the eight days we was there. We would stay at this location again but prefer a different condo.

Baskins Creek Conds are very nice, room 506 is a bit outdated but still nice, try unit 512!

We have stayed in two units at Baskins Creek over the last two years and we absolutely loved our stay both times. Baskins Creek is close to everything and we were able to walk to most anything we wanted to do. The last condo we stayed in was room 512 and it had brand new flooring and countertops and a much nicer view. Unit 506 had carpet and laminate countertops. It was fine, but not the same level of "luxury". . The television in the bedroom was TINY and had terrible quality and the tv stand was pretty outdated and made it hard to watch from different angles unless you were laying in the bed.. all in all I would definitely stay at the property again, just in a different unit. Also we had trouble getting into the elevator at first because the property manager gave me the old elevator code and they also forgot to give us a wifi log in ID and PW so that was frustrating at first but definitely do-able and all I had to do was call maintenance to get the correct information so it wasn't so bad.

4 night stay in July

Pros -close to downtown(3 blocks) -spacious -shower heads are really powerful and tall -entire property is well kept up and a new feel -pool water was warm -Loved the top floor -Felt very SAFE, first time, I had to use a code to get into the elevator -Fans in the bedroom and the unit kept cool, even in the 90’s -Good price on the unit -They do a good job of dusting the unit, the best I’ve seen in the places I’ve stayed over the past 8 years. Cons -Floors were not vacuumed -Need new carpet throughout, especially in the family room -Weird noises in the master bedroom, including the fan(husband wore ear plugs) -master bed is getting close to it’s end of life -needed a few different kitchen items(bowls for mixing, cutting board) -couldn’t get into the elevator, they sent a code in email a few days before the trip and that is the one I used, but then realized, they sent a NEW email the day of and a different code -tried calling the number, but no answer, then tried another number and -garbage disposal is VERY loud, scared my 6 year old, dishwasher is loud too(don't run it at night) Suggestions: -bring your own kitchen garbage bags, they don’t have extra(but we always carry them with us)

Condo 506

The condo was comfortable and clean which are very important to me. We stayed 4 days there. However this condo needs to be updated. The master bathroom especially the shower and cracked molding. The outlets in the condo need looking into as some if you pull to much will come off the wall . did notice that in the morning and again in late evening there is a loud “ leaking sound” that lasts for about 5 min each. Our friends also noticed it in other bedroom as well. To be honest we weren’t in it much and I do love the layout of the condo. It just needs a little TLC. Overall we had an awesome time. The balcony and view were awesome.

Clean but needs maintenance

The resort grounds are wonderful and clean. My complaint is only with this one individual room. My parents stayed in another room that was kept up and very nice. Our room needed maintenance and honestly i expected better for the price i paid. Tv cabinet door literally feel off when i opened it. My girls bed head board wasnt screwed into the bed frame. I ended up putting a pillow between head bored and wall. The master bathroom wood by the shower was rotted and looked dirty. Ive renivated a home and honestly felt like thats what this needed. It just needed a little attention. I dont mind old stuff but things arent being maintained. I found that i wanted to just fix this stuff myself. Anyways the room was clean, no smells and was quiet at night. Mattresses were also old and needed replaced. Again im just comparing this room to my parents and to the one we stayed at a few years ago. If we come back, ill be picking the room my parents had, room 508

Great Location

Trolley stop at the parking lot, a great walking location. Condo was cleaned well appointed . The only problem is there are several outlets the sometimes work sometimes not . I would suggest hiring an electrician before there is a electrical fire

Fabulous home In a great location!

Everything is good

There is a complete set of cutlery, and hygiene products (shampoo, lotion, and soap washer), and the location is also very good to walk to the street within 5 minutes. When we walked in the evening, we also met raccoons in the nearby creek. We had a great weekend with our little ones.

Awesome

We love this place, however there is a little maintenance that needs to be done on the soffit of the building. Please make sure the rooms are cleaned thoroughly. Vacuum under the beds and wipe the entertainment center (spill on the right side). Great place to stay. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas always. God bless you all.
