Short fall trip to Gatlinburg

With Fall upon us, we took the grands to Gatlinburg to see the beautiful fall colors and spend a couple of days in the Smokies. We had never stayed at Baskins Creek before but we will definitely be back. Everything was clean and in great working order. The property was in a great location and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for quality accommodations in Gatlinburg.

Overnight stay

Property was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated for the season. We were happy with the location, central and easy to find. The separate bathrooms were great for staying with friends with kids.

Very nice! Clean and spacious.

Loved walking downtown to shop and eat. Very quiet. Didn't hear any neighbors. Beautiful view of downtown.

Great space but dirty!

The space itself was wonderful, close to downtown, quiet building, easy to access. However, it was hard to enjoy all that when I had to clean the place when we got there. Sure, the counters were clean and the carpets vacuumed but there were jelly smears on the kitchen floors. Most of the doorknobs were sticky and gross. There was something pink smeared on the baseboards near the toilet. Large hairball on the bathroom floor and worst is that the sheets were dirty in the main room. Some were clearly stains but some of it we were able to brush off with our hands.

Nice location but had some issues

My family of 6 stayed in 401 for 6 days. It was a great location and we had plenty of room. We did have a few issues during our stay. All 3 tvs would not work, there was no volume, it took HOURS for it to start working. Maintenance came to fix it but it still took a long time to get them working. Both toilets were broken the first day and were fixed the next day. The first bedroom was very hot at night with no air flow while the master bedroom would be freezing. Couch and loveseat need to be replaced they are falling apart. The piping in all the cushions is sticking out and will stab you if you’re not careful. Kitchen was nice, we did need scissors and a peeler which were not available. The pool, hot tub and location were very nice. We were gone most of everyday so the issues we had were manageable. We may stay at baskins creek in the future , but not 401.

Great, so long as you don’t need to sleep while you’re there!

Overall the condo was great. Good location, nice property, great parking. However, all three of the beds are so old and broken.

Vacation 2022

Loved the closeness to the downtown area. Dining, shopping, and trolly access. The pool and hot tub area were well maintained and they lit up blue and green in the evenings. We could see the Sky Bridge and the Sky Towers lit up in the evenings from the balcony. It gave my family room to spread out without feeling like we were right on top of each other. I would highly recommend this until to anyone planning to visit.
