We are a local family of 4 that lives in Dubuque, Ia. We own and operate 8 short term rentals also known as vacation homes or Airbnb’s in the area. Six of our rentals are in Dubuque, Ia and two of them are located across the Mississippi River in the small town of East Dubuque, Il. Both myself (Linsy) and husband (Corey) were born and raised in Dubuque. We have two children Sophia (11) and Xander (7) who also help us out.

With my background being in real estate and traditional property management and my husband’s background in maintenance, construction, and customer service-based industries it only made sense for us to make the transition into short-term rentals. We have been doing it now since early 2019 and absolutely love it. Between all the people we get to meet and the day-to-day challenges we run into we would want to be doing anything else.

While we don’t travel as much as we used to it has always been one of favorite things to do. We know what we would expect while traveling and try to offer that same to our guests. When you book with us you can absolutely count on receiving the exact place in as in the listing. All of our places are in safe and welcoming neighborhoods. All of our homes have the basics someone would want in a home such as off street parking, central heating and a/c, modern appliances such as refrigerators, range/over, microwaves, dishwashers, and washer/dryers. All of our places are exceptionally clean, recently updated, and have newer memory foam mattresses, smart tvs, and fast wireless internet (Wifi).


Every guest gets both mine and my husbands phone number prior to check in and we are always here to answer any question you may have thru out your stay. We can help you with questions about restaurants, activities, directions, transportation, and my husband can answer almost any question that has to do with Dubuque in general or Dubuque history.

This is a one of a kind rental that includes canoe's. Or if you would like you may bring your own boats, kayaks, or Ponton for use on the lake or bring your bigger watercraft like ski boat or jet skis which can be used on the Mississippi via public boat ramps which are only blocks away. Rest assured we have plenty of parking for whatever watercraft you may have.

The home its self has been recently updated and has all modern convinces. There is a washer, dryer, water softener, refrigerator, electric range, over the range microwave, garbage disposal, and dishwasher.

The master bedroom has one queen bed which is a newer memory foam mattress, an armoire for your clothing, a 42" led smart tv, and an electric fireplace.

The second bedroom has a trundle bed (One pull out from under the other) which are both twin size mattresses, a chest of drawers dresser, and a 32" smart tv.

All bedrooms have combination smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and their are 2 fire extinguishers in the unit. There are 5 security cameras which monitor the Front door, Garage Entry, Deck (For View of Boat Storage, front parking and the basement entry door. None of these cameras are pointed to any space renters may be using inside. We take everyone's privacy very seriously and camera recordings are only viewed when absolutely necessary.

****We like to make everyone well aware that this home is located close to active train tracks. The tracks are located on the other side of the lake. There will be noise throughout your stay from the trains. Most people are not bothered by this however some are****

We also recommend that you drink bottled water as most people do not find the city of East Dubuque to have very good tasting tap water.

There is great fishing on the lake. You can choose to fish from shore or from our boats or dock. We know you will love your stay here and hope to host you soon.
