This penthouse was amazing. Very clean, really big, comfortable spaces to lounge and watch tv, do puzzles. Easy to get to everywhere, HyVee, restaurants. The patio would be fantastic in the summer months. The fireplaces kept us warm and cozy. There was bar noise from below on Saturday night but we put in noise cancelling headphones and slept just fine, the other nights it was really quiet. Hosts were very responsive. We would definitely book again.

SISTER'S STAY

Very comfortable and spacious with great kitchen. Host is extremely responsive. Location was great and we were able to walk to most of our planned destinations. It is a very nice and interesting property and we would definitely recommend it.

Downtown gem

The downtown location and large accommodations make this a great spot for people looking to explore downtown Dubuque. Tons of restaurants, bars, breweries and activities walking distance from the apartment. Large, private, outdoor rooftop. Very large kitchen, dining table, living room, and an additional sitting area.

Excellent

This is the second time we've stayed at this property. It's within walking distance to great food and drinks IF you even want to leave the property. The beds are so comfy. The place is just gorgeous! I can't brag enough about it. You WON'T be disappointed! Jeff is awesome at communication! Book it now!

Family weekend

We had two families get together for a long weekend - 4 adults, 5 kids. The property was spacious, conveniently located, and absolutely beautiful! Very charming and full of character. Excellent communication from the host, very prompt and helpful in responses. We loved our stay!

Girls Trip

This place is amazing! The locations is fabulous. You can walk to so many amazing restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and bars. Very close to the river. The rooftop terrace was gorgeous and the perfect spot to hangout! The house is so spacious and fit our large group perfectly. Seriously the best!

Love this place

I've stayed in many VRBO's and I can honestly say I've never stayed in one as nice and comfortable as this. Jeff was so quick to respond to any messages/ concerns that I had. Reunion weekend

This is the 2nd time our group has stayed in the property, and I'll say it again...we will be back! If possible, every time I'm in Dubuque, I will stay at this property. 100% clean, well appointed, amazing layout, comfy beds. Had a group of about 7-8 college buddies who get together about every 2 years, and this place is just amazing for the group.

Jelly Roll weekend

Five of us (two couples and a single guy) rode our Harleys from central Iowa to Dubuque to spend a few days riding along the Mississippi and going to a Jelly Roll concert at the Q Casino. The accommodations were fantastic! This place is HUGE and so well done it’s simply amazing. All of the finishes and decorations were terrific. It’s in an area with a great vib, lots of dining choices, and great nightlife. Our group absolutely loved it!

Penthouse rental

My siblings and I had a great time in this unit. There where two sets of stairs to get up with all our stuff, but after we did, we were extremely happy with the place. We had plenty of room to spread out and do what we wanted. Beds were comfy. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and we had a great time.

Very nice place to stay

This property was exactly as advertised. Plenty of space for five adults to stay and be comfortable and still have some privacy. There was a miscommunication on the check-in process, which is the only reason I did not give this property all five stars. I was able to get a hold of the property manager, and he took care of getting us into the property and providing us with the Internet password. I would recommend this place for anybody who is able to handle the steps. The rooftop patio was a very nice place to relax in the evening and look over the city.

Great place to stay for a friend's trip.

Easy booking process. Jeff provided all the information we needed to get in on out first day. Tons of room and great outdoor seating area. All kitchen items needed for a multi day stay. Can't wait to come back.

I had my Girls Weekend in Dubuque this year! This is a wonderful property! Big enough for 7 ladies and great location! Close to restaurants and shops and sights. Deck is great for a dance party! Thanks for a great weekend!!!

Excellent visit

The property was beautiful and well maintained. Everything and more that we needed was in the building. Our bed was a bit soft (but that is a preference issue not a complaint). All of the rooms were gorgeous. We enjoyed the rooftop patio! The only “warning” I would give others, there are a lot of steps to the loft. I mean, one assumes steps with a loft but just wanted to give a heads up to anyone thinking maybe there wasn’t. Lol We would definitely stay again. It was a great location to visit “old Dubuque”.

Amazing Field of Dreams retreat

Jeff is an amazing host. The Penthouse offers a terrific central place for a long weekend getaway we're longer. Surrounded by lots of restaurants, breweries, parks, attractions, and nearby hiking and the Mississippi river. We had an absolute blast and couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. The only drawback are the loud motorcycles on the streets of Dubuque...certainly nothing that Jeff can control. His penthouse is amazing and has everything and more that a family could ask for for a long weekend retreat. Our son loved playing cornhole on the terrace. Thanks again Jeff.

Amazing

What a great property, and a great location. This property was great for a reunion of friends, lots of social spaces, beds were comfortable and clean, as well as the bathrooms. Easy walking distance from so much in downtown Dubuque. Really looking forward to coming back when the weather is warmer to take advantage of the rooftop deck. Will definitely be staying again.
