My mother and I stayed in this cute little apartment just a block from Piedmont Park. We were visiting my daughter who recently moved to the area. Very detailed instructions from the owner so there were no problems accessing the key and Wi-Fi. Very close to just about everything Midtown had to offer from coffee shops to restaurants to outdoor activities. Such a cute neighborhood! It rained while we were there, so the humidity was quite significant. Very much appreciated the dehumidifier! Brilliant thinking! The bathrooms were well appointed with plenty of toiletries and decent water pressure. The kitchen was adequately stocked. I would've loved a Keurig, so we didn't have to make an entire pot of coffee in the AM. Appreciated the washer and dryer with laundry detergent provided. Also liked the fact that extra keys were provided. That little touch made life much easier!
I have just 2 suggestions: a handrail for the steps to access the apartment would be nice especially because of the recent rain the steps were slick and there was quite a bit of moss growing. I was a little concerned for my 75-year-old mother. Also, be aware that people live directly upstairs so you hear every footfall, everything that is set down, everything that may be dropped. It was quite frightening to wake up at 1 am hearing footsteps thinking there was someone in our place. We quickly figured out what was going on, but it was pretty scary at first! Overall impression: would definitely stay here again.
