Terrible customer service and response time from Vacasa. Air conditioner and WiFi were not working the moment we checked in so we called immediately. Over the course of 7 hours we called Vacasa 4 times and were told someone would get back to us within the hour but never did. We then called VRBO but they got the same response from Vacasa when they tried escalating to them. We pleaded with Vacasa for them to contact another A/C repair company outside their own staff but they refused. Our first night was extremely hot, sleepless, and headache-filled, as it was mid-Jully. Someone finally showed up for the A/C around noon the following day -- 20 hours after we checked in. The repair took 8 minutes and the cause was a "burned out wire" in the A/C unit. Regarding the WiFi, someone finally showed up on day 3, performed a series of diagnostics and confirmed something was wrong. He then tried to contact the condo owner for assistance and ended up leaving them a voice mail. It was never fixed, so no WiFi in our 4 day stay. I had to use my phone's hot spot to log into work. To add insult to injury, Vacasa gave us an insulting $200 compensation for this 3-night $1600 stay. We'll never rent a Vacasa-managed property ever again.
