When we booked this rental a couple of months ago we thought wow. Honestly the pictures sold us. We could not wait to get into the rental and have a great vacation. Upon arriving is was obvious those pictures we saw on the VRBO website WAS NOT what we got. The place was filthy! The furniture was dirty, spots all over it, and just grossly dirty. The floors and staircase had not been mopped. Paint was cracking behind the thermostat, a bug in the EXL Twin bed in second bedroom, door handle hanging on the sliding glass in master bath, unfinished work in master bath where 1/4 of the wall was missing, and the toilet was leaking and kept running. I did call the property manager and they sent over 3 towels to wrap around the toilet instead of fixing it. With Covdi-19 being on the rise in every state you would think their cleaning procedures would be over the top. It's obvious Benchmark doesn't care. I spent the first day washing sheets, cloroxing toilets, bathrooms, vacuuming, and disinfecting because I wasn't confident that this place had been sanitized in months!. I sent many emails with pictures to Benchmark and they took a slow time responding to me. I spoke to a Jessica the first day regarding my concerns and she was the one who told me she would see what kind of reimbursement we could get back. After several emails initiated by me with different people I was notified that I would not be receiving any kind of refund. They felt they addressed my concerns. Nothing was addressed nor was it fixed properly and the amount of work I put into cleaning that place was ignored by the agency. Pictures are worth a thousand words and I wish I could post the pictures that I had taken of this place. Don't waste your money because you'll spend more money on cleaning products..
