Great weekenf

Everything was just perfect. The home was clean and extremely well stocked. The location was perfect. A step to the bay and ocean a very short walk away. The sunset was just amazing. We could not have asked for more.

Great easy Experience on the Bay

The property was super clean and location was amazing. Short walk to the beach. Owner was super transparent and timely with communication from star to finish. Highly recommend to anyone looking to holiday with family and/or friends!

Fun relaxing beach weekend with family and friends

The Dome house was a great place for our getaway. We enjoyed the expansive views of the great South Bay from the large wrap around deck. It was a short walk to the beach and the famous ‘casino’ beach bar, but we found it hard to leave the house. The hosts were extremely responsive to our questions and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a water main break and a deck collapse and left 5 days early

We arrived at 4 pm on August 4th for our vacation. The landlord was helpful and the check in process was simple. The location of the house and views of the water was beautiful as advertised. The bathrooms however were not very clean and the floors had soft spots from water damage. On Sunday August 7th the house had no water due to a water main break. Thankfully we knew a plumber who found the problem and someone to fix it. The landlord was easily available spoke to the plumber and the problem was fixed by days end. Unfortunately the worst was yet to come. The area of the deck on the side of the house by the barbecue collapsed. We were barbecuing and a few kids were injured when the deck collapsed the lit bbq fell on them. Luckily no one was seriously hurt. The landlord provided a medical contact on the fridge who we called and came to the house to treat the injured. The doctor treated them for cuts, burns and bruises. The doctor did not think anyone needed emergency care. He dressed their injuries, gave care instructions and left. We again contacted the landlord to make them aware of what the doctor said we did not take any further action. We decided to leave Thursday morning ending our vacation 5 days early. We no longer felt safe on the deck. The deck had several rickety spaces, did not feel secure and now had a collapsed section. We were in contact with the injured kids and families and thankfully everyone was getting better. All were thankful it wasn’t much worse. We have been in touch with the owners throughout this experience. We believe these events during our abbreviated stay warrants a full refund.

Relaxing vacation

The house was great, and we enjoyed having our boat anchored off the private beach. We used the paddle boards everyday! Very relaxing vacation.

Wonderful location to view the beauty of the sunsets in the evening!

The location was perfect for our family, easy access from the ferry, which was important since we are a big family with lots of stuff to travel with! Beautiful evening sunsets with easy access to the bay and ocean. Basically perfect location to enjoy all the island has to offer! Thank you Sheila for your hospitality!

We are the new owners of the Dome house. We closed on it August 2019 and spent the fall refreshing everything in the house!! New Paint, bedding, towels, kitchen wares, etc.

We are only renting out a couple of weeks this summer and are looking for renters who will enjoy the house responsibly.

There is no other house at Davis Park that has a large private bay beach where you can spend the day. Perfect for kids (and adults!) to play in the bay with kayaks, paddle boards, canoe, clamming, fishing, and more. The house neighbors county land east of the marina so it is very private. You can anchor your boat right in front of the house! The location is ideal...The ocean is a short 5 min walk and the marina is so close you can see it! Sunsets are truly breathtaking from the deck or the beach.
