The location speaks for itself! Could not be any better!!! However, the air conditioning is still an issue. We did arrive in the middle of a July heat wave but the upstairs bedrooms were truly unbearable. We had multiple fans but they gave little reprieve. I’d stay here again but not in the summer months.

Beautiful views!

We have stayed here twice now. It has become a favorite of ours. The view out back is amazing and being walking distance to everything in harbortown is convenient. We will definitely be back!

Great view and location!

Was close to everything - recommend ice cream directly across the home at The Cinnamon Bear shop - they also have awesome peach and blueberry preserves! Great with some croissants and coffee in the morning enjoying the view on the patio, which we did often!!

Best location

This condo was perfect for our family. This was my 4th vacation to HHI and this was by far the best location. I had read reviews about it being a lot warmer upstairs than downstairs and did notice it only in the hallway in between bedroom. At night it felt great, even a little chilly at times. So the issue must have been resolved. The location is great if you love shopping and sightseeing. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance and cinnamon bear is nice when you want ice cream or a coffee. The beach behind the condo is great for looking for seashells and the beach is a short trolley ride away. The trolley picks you up right outside the shops. Just steps away from the front door. I will definitely be planning another trip in this location in a few years. It was beyond wonderful!

Second home

This is the first time we have stayed here and it is a great location with dedicated parking right next to very busy Harbour Town. You can watch dolphin while sitting on your couch or enjoy the private (to renters only) back yard and beach area. The only reason I didn't provide 5 stars is the air conditioner is not strong enough or big enough to cool upstairs to even close to bottom level. At least 10-15° variation. This was recorded in previous reviews that I had read and was told it was fixed, I can assure you, it has not as of this date. We would LOVE to stay here again for future years, but the A/C will be the deciding factor for me. Other than that, it was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Absolute Perfection

We couldn't be happier with our stay. The location is supreme, the view is breath taking. We could've stayed at the property all day on our vacation and it would have been lovely. There were many discussions made that we will choose our vacation based on availability of this property because we had such a spectacular time looking out at the water.

What a view!

The location and view are great! Walk to Restaurants , marina and shops. Sit on the patio and watch all the activities in the Sound .But the unit itself needs updating. The last two years we have been there a total of 9 weeks, so we know, in our opinion what it needs.

This property has an amazing view and the location is terrific. And that's were it ends. It needs to be updated, or a least thoroughly cleaned, new paint and updated amenities.

The property had a nice view and location. We had no air conditioning the 4 days we were there. Unbearable when you have high humidity and high temperatures.

Stay with a view only

Absolutely love the location and view, the place itself is less than expected. It does advertising amenities, but with a price you pay it should. The couch and beds need replaced not kid friendly or animals have to buy everything for the kitchen and coffee. Upstairs was hot.

Not as pretty as it looks

Yes, the view is absolutely stunning. If I could have spent the entire trip on the patio this would be fine. But there were many things wrong inside, and after repeated calls to management, issues were ignored. TV in mAster bedroom was broken , somebody came by to try and fix it, but gave up and just left. Blinds in the master bedroom were broken, could not open at all, hence could not really use the balcony in the master, which was filthy anyway. Hard to appreciate a pretty view when you can’t open the blinds. Literally no lighting in the 2nd bedroom. Living room sofa needs to be thrown out…too disgusting to even sit on.

Great view, but in major need of repairs

The property location and view are amazing for this property. However, the condition of the condo was in bad need of upgrades and repairs. When we first walked in after check in the first thing we saw was the half bath with a clogged toilet and wet towels all over the floor. When taking a shower in the second bathroom upstairs, it began to rain from the ceiling below getting water all over the dining room and floor. The shower pan quickly filled up with water and took forever to drain. You could clearly see old water damage on that ceiling below so this has been a problem for a while. The dining room table if you sat anything on it and bumped the table, it would knock over glasses and spilled drinks because it was so wobbly and needed tightening. The couch in the living room was covered with old stains, and was extremely dirty to the touch. The walls need repainted throughout. Almost every single wall has scuffs and scrapes all over them which I understand it’s a rental but looks really bad. Very disappointed with the state of the condo but glad it at least had an amazing view for our trip.

Good location, but overall disappointing

The location being right next to Harbortown is fantastic, and at first glance the condo is beautiful. It stops there. The view is great, seeing dolphins every day and sunset every evening. BUT, the sheets were so old they needed to be replaced 3 years ago, the roaches in the dining room were crazy big, the balcony felt like it would crumble at any second. There is no "shared pool" in the complex as the listing states. We walked and drove around the complex looking for it for 20 minutes and finally called for the property manager to tell us that there isn't one, and that we had to purchase a pool pass from Sea Pines pool club and they would reimburse us for the cost. This pool club is most certainly "shared" with the rest of Hilton Head Island, not the condo complex. And it's a 10 minute drive from the condo. Not the biggest deal, but a drag when you just want a dip at the end of the day. Overall, misleading and disappointing. This condo is not on a beach that you can really swim or play on, either. You need to go to the public beach, by driving 15 minutes, parking, taking the trolly with all of your gear, etc. Location is great if you want to be by the lighthouse, but not at all what we expected or were looking forward to.
