My husband and I stayed at this property for the month of March with our golden retriever. The house was very clean and well appointed. There were plenty of dishes, towels, kitchen tools, and cookware. There was enough toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soap to get us started for the month. The furniture was a bit on the older side but, honestly, it was perfect because we had our dog there and didn't have to worry about her getting light colored furniture dirty. We used the outdoor grill often as well as the front deck and the screened in porch.
One piece of information that I couldn't find ahead of time was whether or not we could get through the gate in our car at Kiawah. It turned out that we could! Our car passes gave us easy passage through the security gate.
Now the downside - Vacasa. Others have mentioned this but, initially, we were given the wrong codes to drive through the property gate. It took multiple attempts to finally get the correct code (just before we drove in)! I asked multiple times for the code to the pool and dock area but couldn't get an answer over the course of days. I finally thought to call the local Vacasa office and got the codes within the hour. From that point forward I only contacted the local Vacasa for things like where to park a third car and how to get more propane for the grill. They were very helpful. What I suspect is a national Vacasa contact was worthless and very frustrating.
