The description of the condo was accurate in terms of the condition. It does need new flooring, counter tops in kitchen and bathrooms, and some tlc with sliding screen door as well as windows. But considering how close it is to the ocean, I bet it’s hard to keep up with the corrosion caused by salt water. However, the beds and bedding were comfortable, lots of dishes and silverware, great selection of pots and pans, good set of knives, a good coffee maker and dishwasher. Laundry facilities were welcomed. The view from the lanai did not disappoint and the condo was large enough for our party. When we arrived, I texted the owner as he had said that was the best way to contact him, because we could not find beach towels, bedding for the porta crib, and there was only one beach chair. Also there was no stroller. There were 5 boogie boards, 3 pool noodles and 3 woven mats. We did find the towels, they were decoratively folded up on the beds. The owner did not answer.We noticed the refrigerator was taking a long time to cool to the correct temperature, and by Christmas Eve, it was warm. I called the number provided by the owner for mechanical problems and since he hadn’t responded to the text, I messaged him through vrbo to let him know about the refrigerator and that we were calling the number for repair.
