We had an amazing week stay at Vittoria and Sergio's house. The pool was lovely and thr air conditioning a real boon. However the house was fairly cool anyway. The Trulli bedroom was beautiful and very romantic to stay in. All the beds were very comfortable and the showers were good and hot, (or cold if needed in the hot weather!) Victoria and Sergio were so helpful, recommending places to visit and eat out. They also sorted out leaving some food for our first night when we would arrive too late. This was on top of leaving the essentials of water, breakfast and toilet rolls! The location was great for exploring the north of the region. It is a beautiful area and we feel we have only explored a small part of it. Thank you for making our first visit to Puglia so wonderful. We can't wait to return.

Nice days in Puglia...

We had some nice days in Puglia even though the wheater could have been a lot better. The house leaves no wish open, even on a rainy Sunday. The bedroom in the Trulli is just amazing. The house is perferctly located for all possible events in Puglia (visited the Grotte, the beach in Capitolo, the nice cities of Monopoli and our favourite place in Polignano a mare). The kids enjoyed the Safari Park in Fasano.

Wonderful property and very hospitable host

The rural property is great for relaxing at the pool and as a base for visiting the surroundings. The roofed patio served us as a perfect place for meals, playing board games or just reading. It was quiet, there were only normal neighbourhood sounds, but no noises that would disturb us. The property is a few minutes ride from Castellana Grotte. You must have a car. The kitchen is very well equipped and comfortable for cooking and spending time together. The double rooms were quite comfortable but it must be said that the triple room has only a triple BUNK bed not 3 single beds. Fortunately, Gianni, the host, was able to provide a folding bed which after placing in the room left just enough space for getting in and out. So the room is rather for 2 (3) children. Gianni is a real gem and a good spirit of the place - he will help with everything, advise you on where to go and organise whatever you need. We really enjoyed our stay there! Thank you!

Relaxing time in a cozy realm

The house is very quiet and you can enjoy the time on the large property to the full. Inside, everything is beautifully spacious and the country-style furnishings leave nothing to be desired. The outdoor area is very well maintained and invites you to move all activities outdoors. The geographical location is absolutely perfect and can reach many sights in less than an hour. A good selection of various restaurants can also be reached in just 10 minutes by car. The sleepy region invites you to go hiking and cycling, especially in the off-season you are almost alone. The remote country roads are also ideal for motorcycling, where you can discover the beauties of the landscape even better. The communication with the owner and the caretaker was always great and we received great recommendations. The only drawback is the energy-saving lamps in the house, the bright light is unfortunately not very cozy. But you can regulate that with a few candles. ;-) Thank you for a time away from the trouble. Greetings from Germany.

Wifi was slecht.

Dear Rolandus, Thanks for your review. We are happy that you had a good time. Unfortunately, in the evenings of May the climate is still cool and it is in fact considered low season even if during the day temperatures often reach 25 or more degrees. The wi-fi has been changed with a new system which was planned for the beginning of April. We have a caretaker who manages the villa and it is a free service for customers. Greetings to you and your family. Sergio and Vittoria

Vacanza a Castellana Grotte.

Sonia
