This condo was extremely comfortable and pleasant to stay in. A beautiful view from the balcony, direct access to the beach that was well maintained, the hosts were very responsive and helpful, beds were super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful getaway!

Our stay was great, the condo was very clean, great location and convenient to everything. Loved how we had constant communication and kept us updated on everything. The size of the condo was perfect for our family and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great location to beach, pool and restaurants. Variety of bed set ups worked for our 4 kids. Beautiful view from balcony. Easy check in and out.

Enjoyable family trip

Upon arrival the property was extremely clean and easy to immediately check in. The condo was VERY clean, comfortable beds and kitchen stocked with all cookware we needed. The balcony was large and the location to restaurants and the beach was excellent. This was our first time to visit the Palms 203 and it definitely will not be our last. G Hill

The Palms Orange Beach

We loved our stay here at the Palms in Orange Beach during Christmas break. We requested an early check in and were promptly able to check in. Condo was amazing with a great view of the gulf EXACTLY as shown in photos. Property was managed wonderfully. Communication with Alabama Getaway Vacations was top notch. I highly recommend The Palms and we can't wait to go back again

Great place to stay

This was a great condo! Check-in was quick and easy, condo was clean with plenty of space. Love the location as it’s quiet and away from the pool noise but still super close to the beach, pickleball courts and pools. Kitchen had basic supplies and there is a closet with beach supplies. The only thing I would change is the balcony cushions need a good cleaning. We will definitely return!

The MAIN ISSUE was the infestation of fruit/drain flies. It was EXTREMELY annoying!!! It has obviously been an ongoing problem as the maintenance staff already had plenty of fly traps & drain cleaners on hand, although they barely made a dent! It was obvious the property is well maintained as they were always cleaning the halls & outdoor areas. It's a real shame as the property was really nice! The view & location was fantastic! There were a few appliance issues & the floors could have been cleaner. I truly feel the owner should have offered some financial rebate.

Had to cut our trip short because of the tropical storm. Only negative for us was that the unit should have been cleaner (floor, some of the cookware)

Communication was AWESOME!

Location and size was awesome! Only complaint I have is that the kitchen cabinets were dirty around the handles. lil sticky. But everything else was AMAZING! Would DEF stay here again. I put it on my list for future stays.

Great place!

We really enjoyed this condo. The only drawback was you need more understanding security. My son came in and promptly secured paid parking and the security guard didn’t waste any time giving him a yellow warning. Maybe let people know when booking where someone else can do the paid parking in initial check in as we had 3 cars since others came out of state..

Not the best place to stay.

Very outdated, I felt like it was dirty, all the walls were dirty. When you walk in the smell in the condo is terrible. Looks better in pictures for sure. Location was about the best I can say to be honest.

We will be back!

This condo was everything we wanted and more! Loved the location, very clean. It was an absolute pleasure working with the staff, they made everything very easy, and when we asked if we could extend our stay they made that process so easy. The only thing I would suggest is that they consider purchasing new bed pillows for all the bedrooms. We did find 2 in the closet that we could use, otherwise we may have had to go to walmart and purchase a couple of pillows to sleep on. (Yes, all the pillows really are that bad). But that was truly the only complaint everything else was wonderful. We will definitely stay there again.

Great but problem.

The place looked great. We got there and it was everything it says it was. The company communicated well and it was very clean. Then the sh*t hit the fan. On the first day, maintenance came in and said there was a leak a few floors up that had reached out condo. So they brought in this really loud dehumidifier for the front area near the kitchen and a huge one for the living area that was load when it emptied the water it collected. I bet you are wondering how it emptied the water? They had a very long tube that ran from the big contraption, along the counter, and down the sink. Didn't that get in or way; you ask? Why, yes it did. All while we were yelling at each other over the noise. They finally came to remove the humidifiers the day before we left. The place couldn't even bother giving us a small discount or something. All we got when we left were ears ringing from the constant loud noise the whole time and a thank you for our patience.

Run far away from this condo!

Horrible experience. Walked in to what was supposed to be an inspected and cleaned room, broken glass and rusty silverware left everywhere, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, questionable linens, half of the decorative pillows gone, the furniture is falling apart in the living room and extremely outdated, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, the fridge wasn’t working and needed repaired.... Remember how I said it was supposed to be inspected BEFORE we got there? They actually said it would be inspected 2-3 times before. After we had been checked in a few HOURS someone then brought us our check in packet with parking passes and information. I needed immediate assistance upon check in as well, called every number listed and got a text back from the office after a good wait period... This company is a joke and I won’t ever do business with them again. Trying to get ahold of someone was a nightmare too!!! And they would call, and then tell me they would call and get back with me and NEVER follow through. I would be ashamed to put my condo with Alabama Getaway and VRBO. The standards they have been held to at this rental is incredibly low.

We were completely expecting this review based on our constant communication with you during your stay. Despite expecting it, it still hurts because we do try so hard to make each and every guest happy. We go above and beyond and we PROMISE all of our future guests to continue to do this. We communicated with you nonstop during your stay. You used our 24/7 text line many times and called and spoke with team members in our office. You communicated directly with our housekeeping manager, our office manager, 3 of our guest service team members, one of our maintenance team members, and me (the owner of Alabama Getaway). You are right, you did get in your condo before it was inspected. We sincerely apologized for that. That is not how it is supposed to work. You arrived on a day when we were admittingly shorthanded. We have been blessed the last 16 months not to have COVID affect our company, but in the last 2 weeks we had multiple people were out sick. No one is allowed to work sick in our company, so we had to do our very best to get everything handled. Fortunately, everyone is healthy and well now, and we are back operating as we normally do. Our housekeeping manager personally came to the condo within an hour of you notifying us of the cleaning issues – and she corrected everything. The maintenance issue you reported was handled within hours of you notifying us as well. We handled every issue you had during your stay, but that was not enough for you. For that, I am truly sorry. The owner is making a few updates to the condo this off season, so anything outdated will be replaced. We have proudly been in business here for almost 20 years, and we love what we do. We will continue to work hard for both our owners and our guests. The things you say about our company hurt, but I think the good work we do outshines the negativity. We have so many amazing reviews among the over 6000 reservations we complete every year. I encourage all future guests to review our other reviews and to please reach out to us directly to discuss any questions or concerns you have. We are available to our guests day and night, 365 days a year.
