Great location

Down the street from the beach and around the corner from downtown. Great location. My only complaint is that the basement rooms were a little musty, but such are basements.

Reviewer Comments: We have rented this house many times and have enjoyed the view from the front porch of the yard across the street of two large skeletons sitting in lawn chairs and dressed in seasonal (green st Patty’s day outfits this time. Also view from back deck of moonstone beach and always the two cats in the window of house in back, sunning and occasionally fighting over choice spot in window. Our was clean & comfortable. Stopped up sink in upstairs br. attended to swiftly.

Great house for our family get-together and celebration of two birthdays.

Great location, near all the places we wanted to visit. House was very comfortable for two couples and our grandchild (age 9) who loved the loft where she slept with her dog every night. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to make meals (when we weren't going out to great restaurants). Loved walking around the neighborhood and going to Moonstone Beach and Fiscalini Reserve. Our first time to Cambria and we loved it!!

Best place

This is one of the nicest properties we've stayed in in our travels in CA and elsewhere. Comfortable beds, clean, spacious, well-equipped, beautiful views, quiet. We come from a very busy city, so the quiet was especially appreciated. It's also easy to get from this property to major tourist attractions, like the elephant seals, to hiking on the many trails in Cambria, and to the town proper for grocery shopping, restaurants, and window shopping. Check-in easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous home walking distance to the water. This is a tri level home, two downstairs masters, main floor had living room/kitchen/ third bathroom, upstairs had a loft area overlooking kitchen with two twin beds. Enclosed back yard area for pets.

Excellent spot

Really nice, clean place. Older reviews complaints have all been addressed. View of the ocean. Quick walk to the beach. Short drive to the incredibly cute town. Hadn't spent time in the area before and I have to say, I'm in love. Thanks!

Beautiful location

1. Excellent location - walking distance to Moonstone beach and Fiscalani preserve. 2. Very clean cottage with good amenities - well stocked kitchen, washer, dryer, games, etc. 3. Safe and pretty neighborhood to walk with our kid and dog.

Great ocean view

We were apprehensive with some of the past reviews but this house was just perfect for our stay. Mom lives in Cambria and was getting new floors so we had to move her out of her house for a week. We chose this house because it was dog friendly and just above Shamel Park. The house was quiet, very clean and the kitchen was nicely equipped. The bedding is so cozy. Great house. Would not hesitate to rent again.

Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd or 4th stay at Bird's Eye and it has always been great.Appreciate the strong wifi for those of us who had to do a little work. Only thing I would ask is for 6 seats in the living room and on the deck. Otherwise, this is a perfect location and very affordable.
