Learned from local residents who live in the building that all rentals were run by slum lords. The unit is supplied with the bare minim ( 1 towel pp for your entire stay), kitchen equipment was purchased on the cheap. 1 burner on the oven didn’t work, only 1/2 of the toaster worked, ,mismatched silverware, again supplied the bare minimum. There was a tropical storm for 2 days. Afterwards roaches started appearing in the kitchen. When I contacted management they told me that the rain draws them out. I talked with the local owners and others and everyone agreed that was BS. The owners obviously don’t fumigate regularly and more importantly take the necessary simple precautions to prevent this from occurring. I was told that you put drain covers over all of the showers/ tubs to prevent roaches from coming up. I will say that the manger responded quickly to my request to fumigate but it had a major impact on our ability to use the condo for the day. She said that they fumigate often but I don’t believe that is accurate. There are other places nearby for the same price that aren’t run this poorly and are a better place to stay. Again, I heard this from the local residents who lived in the building. So my suggestion- AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! A message to the owners- Take some price in your property!! Apparently you a have only been here 2-3 times; did you actually stay overnight in your unit and see how you could make some improvements to make the stay more enjoyable for the people that are PAYING YOU GOOD MONEY YO STAY THERE?
