Thanksgiving family getaway

This was a good option in western Kentucky for a Thanksgiving meeting point for our family. The house is an interesting style with nice amenities.

Solar Eclipse Trip

We enjoyed this beautiful property while visiting nearby family to watch the solar eclipse. We especially loved the historic architecture of the home. Communications with the hosts were great and check in and listing accuracy were all good.

Great Getaway

Check in process was really easy. Location of the property was great and fairly close to all the things we had planned for the weekend. Absolutely loved the front porch that overlooks the lake.

Great Stay

House was very nice. Had extra things to do like bags and poker chips. Wood for fire. Hosts were very responsive to questions. Good location near marina, stores and restaurants. Lots of wildlife. Saw eagle, fox, deer. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful old home

We used this location as a getaway for extended family, ages 18 to 80. The home had charm and a nice location overlooking the water. We had all we needed for a comfortable weekend away.

Cousins Weekend Getaway

Our long weekend on Lake Barkley was wonderful! The house was even better than expected. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We loved the big wrap around porch and comfortable rocking chairs. Thanks for a great stay!

Family vacation 2020

We fell in love with LBL last year after a weekend get away.. decided to make it family vacay this year and we were not disappointed in the least! We rented a pontoon and relaxed on the beautiful porch and huge bonfires! A very relaxing family vacay with lots of memories made!

Lovely lake house!

Paradise

Relaxation!!!! Such a beautiful, majestic spot to relax and enjoy family time. The view was spectacular and the property was amazing. Close to restaurants and multiple boat ramps. We’d definitely love to stay again!!!

Relaxing weekend with friends

The property is lovely inside and out! The kitchen and baths are well stocked; the porch is perfect for cocktails with a view of the lake! Games in the comfortable den were fun on a rainy night and the marina right down the road has free launch for boating. A great place for enjoying Lake Barkley with friends!

Perfect Getaway

This property is an amazing getaway! Our family enjoyed the wrap around porch and the fire pit. The house is spacious and was very nice. The newly renovated master bathroom was amazing! We will be returning to the property soon!

Enjoyed our stay very much.

The house and property were quite nice. There were two couples and each had a very nice bedroom with bathroom. It was within easy driving distance of the lakes/recreation and good restaurants. We say more deer that ever before. Great for outdoor enthusiasts.

Relaxing 4th of July Weekend

Family trip was very nice at this house on Barkley Lake. Beautiful setting on the water front with a wonderful wrap around porch. The bedrooms were spread out so everyone had their privacy. We Will be back.

Golf Weekend

It's a great place to stay for a golf weekend. Several nice courses close by. Close to a grocery store. Play 18, come back throw some meat on the grill, relax with a cold beverage on the deck, and enjoy the view. You couldn't ask for more.

Girls Annual Trip

We had a great time at Beth and Jamies Home, It was beautiful, very spacious everything we needed. Front porch overlooking lake is gorgeous. Very nice and easy to work with. Can't wait to book again. Annual Girls Trip for Jan's Clan to fight Pancreatic Cancer.

Adventures await

Cute property, right on the water! Kitchen has everything you need and more! Lots of space/ privacy for 2 or 3 small families. My children enjoyed the games and played lots of hide and seek inside. We brought kyacks and launched from the house. We saw deer, turkeys, and the bald eagle on many walks. Responsive host! Enjoy your trip!

Eddyville house

Awesome house! Plenty of space, everything provided, including a gas grill and yard games. Beautiful views from the porch - spent a lot of time there. Also a big fire pit to sit around in the evening hours. Very quiet and relaxing! Recommend this house to anyone wanting a nice place on the lake for a relaxing stay!

Charming house on the Lake

Charming and a little quirky lake house. Very comfortable and clean. One of the best stocked kitchens we’ve had. With having a 4 month old grandson with us we dined at the house every day. Beautiful views The hosts very helpful. The only negative would be the 44 steps to the lake and access into the water off the rocks was a bit tricky.

Jameson and I love peaceful getaways. We enjoy boating, golf and campfires . We have been going to Lake Barkley for many years with our kids while they were very small. We found this wonderful old home that was a fixer upper. We just fell in love with it. We do like the charm and character of old homes but the special part is the lake. We fell in love with Lake Barkley and Eddyville. I am sure you will see why!

The view had us sold!!! It is one of the best you will ever see on the Lake. Not in a cove were you just see other houses. You see the full view of the lake and Land between the lakes wild life. I guess that is why Matthew Lyon who founded Eddyville and Lyon County had once owned this lot ! It is truly a beauty! Our house has all the modern amenities but yet so much history. You will see pleasure boats but also barges and a cruise line paddle boat. Come stay and see for yourself. We would loved to have you!

You won't have to go far if you forgot something or if you are wanting to get to some great recreation!! Our location is not only convenient it has good paved roads that makes it easy to get you back to the highway.
