Quant and clean. Surprised they split up the rooms to stay in. My brother and his wife stayed in the basement area. We stayed on main level opposite side of home. We had what we needed to make it comfortable.

Great house/location

Convenient to walking to town , great restaurants in the area for breakfast & dinner, house was perfect, comfortable, well maintained great off street parking and had everything we could ever had needed.

Perfect Stay in Portland

This was the perfect place for my husband and me, and our four adult children! We LOVED the thoughtful and beautiful renovation of these two units. We also loved that they are two separate units, as it gave us all space! The location is also perfect! Just 15 min walk to downtown Portland. Will definitely visit again.

Great Location (but two units)!

In walking distance from downtown. The living room and kitchen were great spaces. However, it was not made clear that this rental was two units instead of one. It was inconvenient to go from one unit to the other since you had to go outside to enter each one. Also there was no backyard access.

Short stay in Portland

The property was very nice. The property listing was misleading. There are actually 2 separate apartments, one on the lower level of the property and the other at street level. Each apartment had 1 bedroom, bathroom, living area and kitchen. The basement apartment was nice but had very little natural light and had black and fruit flies and at least 2 species of spiders. I called about the insects but nothing was done about the problem at least not while I was staying there.

Needs some improvement

The location was great and having the ability to book both units was a plus. We wished the units were connected though and having to go outside to access the different units was not ideal but that was fairly explained in the description. The biggest issues we had were cobwebs and spiders in the lower unit. It needed a deeper cleaning and addressing the bug issue. The air conditioning in the lower unit was loud since it was a window unit. The lower unit also had blood stained sheets for the pull out couch - yuck! The upper units master bedroom door was see through, so for privacy it was not ideal. It could have been cleaned a bit better as we found party favors from a previous guest. The dryer in the top unit did not work and so we left with sour clothing. They didn’t have a standard coffee maker, it was a percolator. Both units had a Keurig machine but did not supply pods, which I have found standard in most rentals. Overall I don’t think I would book this unit again for the price point.

Overall a nice place. Clean and comfortable beds. Just remember it two units not one. So if it's two couples traveling together it's a nice break of togetherness. However front doors are mainly clear glass with NO door shade so anyone can look in to see you in all your glory.

Fantastic

We had a great time. Place is great, walkable and enough space. We got the two spaces and it was perfect for two traveling couples. I would recommend this place for sure and hope to be back next year!

Beautiful property with an amazing kitchen if one were so inclined…but we were within walking distance of a plethora of cuisines and parks which was the bigger draw.

Beautiful apartment in great location!

Our family of 5 was in Portland for a wedding and stayed here for two nights. We had the two units so though we had to separate for sleeping, we didn’t mind because both apartments are really nice and so clean. They are newly updated with beautiful and comfortable finishes. They have details that are hotel-like but have the space, quiet, and roominess of a condo. Only about a 10-15 min walk to the Old Port; we never drove anywhere. We had a lovely stay and would recommend.

Great house and location.

My wife and I brought our baby and stayed in the upstairs unit and my in laws stayed downstairs. It was a great setup for us. The units were very nice and comfortably appointed. Great location around the corner from a lot of dining options and a nice walk to downtown as well. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Beautiful apartment

We rented both apartments. They are decorated beautifully, extremely clean and well equipped. The house is located on a very popular street but easy to get in and out of the driveway. The private back yard is a nice place to relax and enjoy the well landscaped green space. The tourist area is very easy to get to in matter.of minutes. We would stay here again.
