It’s a real nice two-bedroom apartment and had everything we needed. Cute decor. Things were clean. We enjoyed the grocery store that was just 3 blocks away. Joan was quick to respond to questions. Would stay here again!

Logan Square Visit

Our trip to Chicago was in mid-June and the area was in full bloom; especially the neighborhood garden at the end of the block. I've been to Chicago many times for work but never stayed in a residential neighborhood before. This trip was to visit our son & daughter-in-law who moved into the area a few months ago. This apartment was a lucky find for us as there are no hotels anywhere near the area.This first floor, 2/1 apartment was a perfect fit for our needs. It's a very clean, recent renovation on a quiet street. It's about halfway between two major cross-streets where you'll find food & entertainment options.It's a 5 to 7 minute walk in either direction.The furnishings and supplies were as advertised and very comfortable. Joan was a great host, responding to all of our questions promptly.The only surprise we had was that there are two apartments on the first floor and this is the rear unit. This actually worked out for us as it was more convenient for our son to pick us up on the alley-side of the building. If we had rented a car I would have viewed this as more of an issue rather than a benefit. (I grew up in a bad neighborhood - I like to see who's messing with my car.)All in all - I highly recommend Joan & this apartment and we do plan to return at some point.

So happy here!

Joan is a great host. She was always prompt and welcoming. The property was as described. Very very clean, well organized and appointed. Didn’t get to cook at all as we were busy visiting with our daughter and going to all her favorite local restaurants. Next time, we will take full advantage of the beautiful, large kitchen. It’s so spacious that you want to cook and host. Definitely next time. The neighborhood is quiet with Tony’s Supermarket just 5 mins away.

Cute 2bdrm - worked well for us!

Easy to move in and feel at home in Chicago for a few days!! The place was beautifully decorated and equipped. The beds were comfy. Quiet neighborhood that felt safe but not too far from our planned activities downtown. Joan was welcoming and very helpful in her communications. Always a parking place on the street within the block and got some good practice parallel parking. A few blocks away from a grocery store and restaurants. Would recommend and would hope to stay here again if we have the opportunity to come back.

An Absolutely Lovely Apartment

This rental was a great find for my friend and me. The apartment was clean, spacious, well-stocked, adorably decorated, and—best of all—quiet. I greatly appreciated Joan's clear, detailed instructions and quick response time. We were very comfortable during our stay here and would happily book it again.

Came in with our daughter to celebrate her 18th birthday and see the city.. The location was great... easy to get around and safe, adorable neighborhood. Cute places to grab breakfast nearby. The apartment was clean and spacious. loved our stay.

Quiet Neighborhood Close to Logan Square Amenities

Very cute & clean place in a quiet neighborhood. We liked the private entry and light & airy rooms. The kitchen & bathroom had good lighting and were stocked with all the essentials. The beds were comfy with nice soft bedding.

Just right for a few nights in Chicago

We came to Chicago for three days for a memorial service for a friend. We needed a comfortable place to stay, a "home base" for all of our (emotional) running around. This was just right. The location was spot on (we liked that we could walk to the grocery store or to restaurants in five minutes) and close to the places we needed to be. The kitchen was as well-stocked as any kitchen at any VRBO we ever used (which was great for cooking breakfast every day). One night, exhausted and worn out, we just crashed and watched a movie. It felt like home. One thing this place had that we haven't seen in many VRBOs is extra blankets! My wife is always cold and, so often in VRBOs, there aren't extra blankets for her. But this place had a stash (good for that movie night). The only complaint that we have is that the toilet paper was the thinnest stuff we've ever seen. Joan, add a dollar per day and buy the double-ply stuff! Last word for those who aren't used to Chicago (I used to live there): If you're small-town person or a suburbanite, know that you may have to circle the block a few times or park up the street and walk back. I knew to expect this, but my 11-year old who is growing up in a typical suburb was quite frustrated that it took us a while to find a place to park and then we had to walk back. For Chicago, however, the parking situation was really quite good. We'd stay here again. Thank you!

This is a GREAT place to stay! Super clean, comfortable, and convenient. We stayed for two nights on a two week road trip and this place was perfect! Parking was not a problem at all. The neighborhood was quiet, friendly, and clean. The beds were super comfy along with the bedding. Couch was perfect for relaxing and kitchen was stocked and clean. Joan was very responsive and readily available. We will definitely be back because we visit Chicago at least 4 times a year. Thank you Joan for an amazing stay!

Spacious, clean, and conveniently located!!

Joan is an excellent host! This apartment was exactly what we needed! I have mold/dust and cat allergies so I am always a bit nervous with VRBO's however, this apartment was impeccably clean with zero pet odor or hair, good ventilation and clean air!! It is also situated in a nice little quiet neighborhood within a short walking distance to all the best restaurants and shops in Logan Square! All of this along with a super quick and easy check out process. We look forward to staying here again soon!!

Chicago Birthday Visit

My wife and I had scheduled a trip to Chicago to celebrate our oldest daughter's birthday. We chose this property as it was close to her place and was affordable. We were pleasantly surprised at how we felt right at home almost immediately after we walked in! Very clean and cozy. The property was in a nice, well kept neighborhood within walking distance of many stores, restaurants, etc. And our host, Joan, was easy to get a hold of and always very quick to reply to any of our questions. We will definitely be back!
