Great location!

Right around the corner from the Riviera and Aragon theaters as well as the Green Mill. Short walk to great shopping and restaurants. The apartment was spacious and clean.

Uptown done right

Wonderful spacious and clean place. Parking is a great bonus. Was great for a Cubs weekend. Easy walking to and from Wrigley with many restaurants in between.

Best value and perfect location

We all really liked the apartment it was warm and homey, had all sorts of items for the comfort of guests! Down to the dog bed and some children's toys :) Having its own parking is the extra PLUS for this place!! Thanks!

Reunited in Chicago!

We had an amazing long weekend to visit our adult daughter! We attended a Cubs game and had an incredible time at Wrigley and throughout Wrigleyville! We took an Uber to downtown and spent a delightful day at Navy Pier and even took a boat cruise on the SeaDog to explore the architecture along the Chicago River! That was super cool. Reuniting with our daughter and simplicity of using the Red Line or Uber to get around was no issue! Returning to the apartment at night was a calming place! Having brought Grandma along to see her grand daughter the layout was perfect! It felt like my husband and I had our space and she had hers. Gathering on the couch together near the kitchen for coffee talk. The beds were amazing and I loved the bathroom and walk in closet in the master! Thank you for hosting us! ‘TIL next time Chicago!

Thanksgiving Stay

Stayed for thanksgiving and had a small group of friends over for dinner and it was incredible. everything was clean. there was so much room. Hosts were super communicative and responsive. would 10/10 stay again.

In town for a show at the Aragon

The place was very clean, spacious and well kept. The convenience to the concert was the most important for us! It was nice to have condiments, coffee and water available. I will definitely return if we do another weekend with a show in the city.

Visiting friends on the north side of chicago

This was a great location and a short walk to the Red Line. Having parking was a plus. Lots of food options in close proximity and even got to see a live show at the Green Mill. I would totally stay again.

Clean and great location!

Overall, had a great experience! Very large place and very clean! I have stayed at a lot of rentals and this is on top of the list! Highly recommended staying here!

Great place. Great Location. Great Experience

Our family had a wonderful stay at a charming apartment in a fantastic location. We were 20 minutes or less from nearly all the places we needed to visit, whether for entertainment or helping our new college student settle in. The manager was extremely communicative, and the apartment had everything we needed. It felt much more like staying in a hotel suite. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely try to book this place again for our next trip.

We enjoyed it very much. I liked the availability of great food. The L station closest to us was closed- until 2025? But the walk to the next station wasn’t bad.

Fantastic stay!

We stayed here back in March. It's a great unit with lots of space for my husband and I and our 3 yrs old son. Joan is an outstanding host and was very helpful throughout the entire process. The only issue we had was the wooden floors were a bit creaky. We had to step lightly the entire time (hard to do with a toddler), but hopefully we didn't disturb the neighbors below us too much. The neighborhood is great for families and we always felt safe walking around. The parking spot is a huge plus too. We hope to stay there again.

Spacious and Airy?

Spacious and Airy is an understatement. It much more than that. The beds was heavenly. 2 queens and a king tells you how big the rooms are. Plenty of nature light. The simple snacks and beverage was godsend after a long day of travel. On premise parking a huge huge plus from street parking. All in all great experience. Thanks Joan.

Joan's Uptown Home

Our stay at Joan's home was the last stop for us on a 2 week road trip. After staying in hotels her place was a welcomed relief. It was spacious, very clean and even better than pictured. The location is very convenient to public transportation making it easy to get wherever you want to go. The kitchen was nicely stocked with all the little amenities needed for a short stay as well as a long stay. Beds were very comfortable! The best part for me was the communication from her. Leading up to our stay, all correspondence was timely and informative. During our stay all communication was extremely prompt and helpful. As we loved Chicago, we plan to visit again and will definitely be staying at Joan's place. I would 100% recommend a stay here for anyone visiting Chicago.

Uptown Luxury

I enjoyed this flat oh so much. As long as you don’t mind walking up stairs, this place is great! It was large and could accommodate quite a few people. The bed was VERY comfortable and I don’t think I’ve slept as well since. The location was perfect for what I had planned. It was walking distance from the Green Mill, a supposedly haunted jazz joint. Also close to the water and in a cute neighborhood.

Located in Uptown Neighborhood in Chicago- easily accessible by the CTA Red line Train (2 blocks walk to Lawrence subway station) and one block walk to Lawrence and Kenmore bus stop.

Uptown offers a unique blend of history and ethnic diversity. The Green Mill is a classic Jazz club that used to be a hangout spot for Al Capone, it is still popular to this day. This entertainment district is anchored by the Aragon Ballroom and Riviera Theatre which are bustling with shows through the weekend.

Argyle is one block away. If you believe in eating where the locals eat, Argyle is most certainly the place to go; this is authentic cooking, with no tourist traps to be found. Vietnamese restaurants and bakeries are the most plentiful, with various disciplines of Chinese food a respectable second, and Thai restaurants. There are even Ethiopian, Lebanese, Indian cuisine options.
