This charming 3rd-floor condo is located on the Northern end of Tybee Island, near
the lighthouse and 1 mile from the Southern end where most shops and the
pier are located. You will love it!

Whispering Palms received a fresh coat of paint in 2024 as well as all new flooring. There is no longer any carpet in this unit. Whispering Palms has a fully equipped kitchen that is open to the living room and small dining area. There are lots of local restaurants, so no need to eat in! There is a king bed in the bedroom. Although these condos have less than 500 sq. ft., they have all you will need to enjoy your vacation.

This unit offers a TV in the living room and bedroom. The owners have also provided wifi so that you can stay connected during your vacation. We highly recommend unplugging and enjoying the beach!

The balcony is a great place to enjoy a morning coffee or evening cocktail and watch the ships come and go. We are located in the Savannah River bay area at the junction of the Savannah River and the Atlantic Ocean, and the beach is only steps from the condo.

The Savannah Beach and Racquet Club has well-maintained grounds with a view of shrimp boats and commercial ships as they come and go from the port of Savannah. There are 2 tennis courts, a pickleball court, 2 beachside swimming pools, and BBQ grills. We are a 20-minute drive to historic Savannah and 1 hour and a half from Hilton Head, S.C. Beautiful sunsets and dolphin sightings are common.

A boardwalk from the pool deck leads you directly to the sand. The beach is wonderful for long walks, shelling, fishing, and bird watching. If you like to swim in the bay, you should know that there are no lifeguards on the North Beach. Please keep a close eye on the little ones!

This is a gated complex and there is parking for 1 vehicle per condo. Parking is strictly enforced. You will be issued 1 parking pass and it must be displayed on your dash during your stay. All unauthorized vehicles are subject to ticketing by SBRC management.

This complex does not allow pets. This is also strictly enforced by SBRC management.

Tybee quick trip

Location was great, we loved being on the North Beach. Great getting out on the beach every day for an early morning and sunset walk. Dolphins were around daily. A really nice way to enjoy a week at the beach.

Wonderful

We where able to have all our things with us so that we where comfortable and had an amazing time! The room was very relaxing and gave us a view of the beach while we ate dinner!

We loved our stay - the hosts were responsive, the ldirections were clear. The apartment was clean with everything you need. We loved that the beach area here was more quiet than at the other end of town. My only caveat is that the AC for the unit, which of course the owners have no control over since this is a complex, is very loud when it kicks in. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs.

Vacation in Tubee

Overall, it was a good stay, it was a bit dated but very functional for what we needed. We didn’t realize there was not a separated bedroom, but it still worked fine for our needs. Host was very responsive and concerned regarding our stay. Great location with pool and beach access.

Nice Get-Away

Had a great time on Tybee Island and in Savannah. It was easy check-in and the condo was clean and appealing. We enjoyed the balcony very much! And our walks on the beach were invigorating!

Amazing

From the booking to the point where we exited the communication was amazing, the property was clean, the view of the ocean as stated, and watching the dolphins swim with morning tea was all just amazing. Would stay again. Thank you so much for a relaxing, much-needed break without worry.

Great Stay

This condo was perfect for our visit to Tybee! It was clean and comfortable and so close to the beach my partner and I were able to take a walk every evening. We would recommend this place to any future guests looking for a place to stay on Tybee Island!

Great place to relax at the beach

This unit was perfect for our mother/daughter trip. The units are small, but every inch of space is usable. There are useful nooks and shelves to store things. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools. The refrigerator does not have an ice maker, so if you need a lot of ice, bring a bag. The two ice trays were plenty for us and they freeze quickly. The central unit cools very well, and we were always as cool as we wanted to be. The beach is very easily accessed and the pool is right down the steps. This was the most crowded I’ve ever seen this area, and it was still not crowded at all. There was one small issue when we first arrived, but it was taken care of very quickly. The property manager was very quick to respond and to fix the issue. If in the area again, I would try to rent the same unit.

Good location, comfortable stay.

The property was very well maintained. It was family friendly, but wasn't loud with screaming kids everywhere. The unit was clean and attractively decorated. The bed was pretty comfortable, the bathroom clean with beach towels as well as bath towels. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils and dishes. There was a toaster, an electric kettle and a blender in the cabinet above the fridge. The oven knob was missing the temperature markings, so if you intend to cook anything in the oven, be aware. The location was great. Not a whole lot of traffic, located in a residential neighborhood right on the Savannah River. There were people swimming, but I hesitated to swim only because I have heard it's not the cleanest river, although the beach was free of debris and garbage of any kind. The best part of the location? Dolphins!! Several excursion are included in the cost of the rental, but you don't need to do the dolphin tour to see them. Just go down to the beach at sunset and you will see many dolphins. You can even take kayaks out and paddle around and they will swim up to you. There is a pool. I didn't use it, but it was sparkling clean and several times a day I saw staff out attending to the pool area tidying up. If I come back to Tybee, I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

Awesome getaway

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend together. It was clean, comfy bed, and great location. Everything we needed. We usually prefer to sit at the pool but sat on the beach all day to watch dolphins. We couldnt believe how many we saw jumping out of the water. Amazing! And the dolphin tour was awesome too. We would definitely stay here again.
