Kaanapali Luxury Vacation Rentals welcomes you to our beautiful garden level Luana Villa at the Honua Kai Resort.

This luxurious villa is located within a private garden enclave at the spectacular, beach front, Honua Kai resort. This villa boasts 2047 sq. ft. of contemporary interior living space with expansive western windows that open up to a wide 562 sq. ft. lanai, providing your family with plenty of room to enjoy the Maui lifestyle.

Spend your days at your enclave’s private pool and hot-tub located amongst the luxurious Hawaiian gardens or take a very short stroll to the world famous Kaanapali beach, or aquatic playgrounds of the Honua Kai resort. Experience world class dining, shopping and golf within minutes leaving your villa by visiting Whaler’s village and the Kaanapali and Kapalua golf courses.

This ground level villa will provide you with instant access to your enclave’s private pool, hot tub and fire pit area. This residence is fully furnished with everything you need for a luxurious Maui vacation and a gourmet kitchen to prepare your favorite family meals. The Lanai is equipped with an outdoor kitchen and BBQ and plenty of lounging and dining space for the entire family. The residence also includes a private garage with a charger for your electric car and an ensuite full size washer and dryer.

Resort amenities include a network of swimming pools, waterfalls and children’s shallow pool, 24 hour fitness facility, Duke’s beach house restaurant, and Whaler’s general store and Spa. Please note due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic, resort amenities may be subject to change or closure.

TAX
The State of Hawaii mandates a total tax of 18.712%.

Taxes are paid to the state of Hawaii and County of Maui based on the guest’s dates of stay. Any changes to the current tax rate will be charged or refunded to the guests depending on the increase or decrease.

OCCUPANCY:
Additional Guests of any age (infants and toddlers included) are strictly prohibited without prior approval. If approved, a fee of $100+tax per day will be added to the reservation for each additional guest.

We have a collection of beautiful 1, 2 and 3 bedroom condos in the Hokulani and Konea towers along with several gorgeous Luana Garden villas within the Honua Kai resort.

Resort has a NO PET policy.

CANCELLATION:
Cancellation outside a 60-day period prior to arrival is subject to a 10% (of total) cancellation fee. Any cancellations made within the 60-day period may result in forfeiture of all monies paid. Please review the listing Terms and Conditions for more information. We highly recommend that all guests purchase a travel insurance policy. Cancelation policy is strictly enforced. All credit cards fees will be deducted before a refund is issued.

So dreamy!

It was absolutely amazing for my family. We loved everything about this place, the location was right next to the pool and so peaceful and quiet, walking distance to food trucks and the beautiful resort. The house was incredibly clean and open. We all had our own space and the kitchen and slider were so cool to have! Everything about it was dreamy and we didn’t want to leave. And we can’t wait to come back

Great Family Trip

We loved our stay at Honua Kai. The condo felt spacious for our family. Great that each couple had their own bathroom. Nice to have the garage and parking space right next to us--ease in loading an infant, golf clubs, surf board etc. The space was beautiful and we loved the property. Lovely lanai to enjoy meals outside. Nice to be close to jacuzzi. We used several of the pools and enjoyed snorkeling right in front of the property.

Relaxing

I enjoyed the area. Quiet and not a lot of people around which was nice. Very spacious. Clean. They had a garage to park in that was very nice. I enjoyed the pool and hottub being close and not crowded. Although it was off season which helped. Helpful and friendly to deal with.

Honua Kai Resort Vacation in Kaanapali

Beautiful 3 bedroom Villa in Honua Kai Resort. Fereshteh was very responsive to our email questions and quick to respond to an ice maker and plumbing issue. The pool outside our door was great and we also took advantage of the pool with the slide near the high rise buildings. Beach access was just a short walk. Also loved that there was a food truck park right across the street and a grocery store nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Property!

We cannot say enough about how special this property is. Spacious enough to accommodate 5 adults and one teen very comfortably for well over a week. A semi-private pool just steps away. Benefits of being on a large resort property without all of the people (spa, concierge, convenience shop, etc). Highly recommend! A few small watch-outs to consider with this luxury experience: 1. Would be very nice to have a Smart TV in the living room to allow guests to stream what they want to watch. While we normally do not watch TV on holiday, the vibe of this place was so comfy that there were nights we stayed in and made dinner and wanted to watch a movie. We could only do it by going out to buy an HDMI cable and connecting to a MAC. This is a miss. 2. Housekeeping is only available for a $300 fee. So if you stay for awhile (we were there 12 nights) you end up doing a lot of laundry for towels. It would be great to offer a turn of sheets and towels if you're there more than a week. 3. It would be great if there were pool toys/rafts available in the garage. We had to purchase them. This one is minor... Again, highly, highly recommend this property. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful home, poor linens

Our main issue with the home was there were no fitted sheets on the bed and no duvet cover. Instead - you slept in a flat sheet sandwich with one flat sheet below you, one over you, then a quilt and then another flat sheet on top of the quilt. As you can imagine, the bottom sheet never stayed tucked in, nor did the ones sandwiching the quilt. In addition there were strange retangular plastic items (anti-theft devices?) attached to one corner of each bed pillow which made the pillows uncomfortable if you did not orient them the right way. Further, there were dead bugs in the master bathroom on the sink counter and in the WC as well as ants after anything was cooked on the stove. In addition, although we reported a blinking light on the lanai - the management never followed up, and it was never repaired or replaced. Finally, the gasket of the washing machine was covered in black mold. We purchased vinegar and attempted to clean the mold the best we could, but it probably needed to be replaced. We have stayed at other units at Honua Kai and have not had moldy washers or anti-theft devices on pillows, etc.

Thank you for your review. We really appreciate your feedback and will discuss the issues with our housekeeping team. To clarify the use of flat sheets instead of fitted sheet and duvet covers is standard in the hospitality industry for several reasons. The pillow case protectors did not come with an anti theft device. They have a plastic covering that covers the zipper so it doesn’t become undone during use. We will keep your feedback in mind when purchasing additional pillow protectors. Regarding the bugs, as mentioned in our check-in instructions, due to the tropical climate where the resort is located, care must be taken during the stay to keep all doors and screens closed. The resort is on a strict quarterly pest control schedule and the housekeepers perform a deep clean of the villas between every visit. But if the doors are left open during the stay or any food is left out bugs will unfortunately find their way inside. With regards to the blinking light, we did have the issue checked by the resort engineering and could not duplicate the problem. Furthermore the washer is scrubbed and deep cleaned with specialty detergents in between every guest. Unfortunately the gaskets are becoming discolored overtime and the manufacturer is in short supply. We have an order placed to have them replaced as they are coming discolored. Again thank you for your feedback as it allows us to better service our guests in the future.

Wonderful Resort Villa

Villa was absolutely amazing. Well equipped and lots of space for our large family (8). Swimming pool just steps away from the Villa. Access to more pools, waterslide, and beach access just a short walk. The resort grounds is beautifuly landscaped. We loved hanging out on the lanai where we are most of our meals. We definitely felt at home while on vacation. We are ready to book our next trip at this location.

Luxury family stay close to everything

Fantastic family stay for 3 generations get together. Ideal location that was easy walking distance to the 3 big pools on the resort, the beach, and Dukes. And this 11A unit was particularly close to the food truck pod, grocery store, and strip mall with food options. This unit had a huge lanai that was only 20 feet from the nearby swimming pool/hot tub/fire pit as well. It was spacious, high-end, with a gorgeous lanai that we used for most of our meals. The sun just missed the unit as well, so you get great light without having to pull down the sunshade. Would def stay again, worth every penny!

Clean, big, relaxing and perfect

In short, this property worked perfectly for us. The privacy was perfect and the unit was large, spacious and clean. The lanai was great as was the private pool. The beach is a short walk and it was nice to be at the back of the property away from the crowds. We will book again for sure. We were a party of 7 with 2 adults and 5 teens. Kids were thrilled to finally have enough room!
