Welcome to the Rocky Mountains, where beauty, adventure and convenience collide. Enjoy your stay at Peak View Chalet while overlooking one of the most beautiful views of Pikes Peak. This panorama stretches out before you as you step out the door.

The 28 acre estate is located in a gated community. You will have private access to a full size apartment which is attached to our family residence. The inside space features a bedroom with a comfy king size bed and walk-in closet. The full kitchen is well stocked so you can prepare family meals and enjoy eating together inside or out. You can watch movies on our large screen TV while lounging on our queen size pull out couch. If you are traveling with children, they are welcome to share our children's trampoline or explore new trails. There is friendly dog that also resides with us and she will make you part of her family very quickly.

You will feel like you're in your own world, yet driving down the mountain road, you go less than 5 miles to access Walmart, Woodland Aquatic Center,, the Dinosaur Resource Center, and many local restaurants. Heading down Ute Pass you quickly come to the Gazebo and pond in Green Mountain Falls, Pikes Peak Toll Road and the North Pole Amusement Park. For those who love to shop, you travel 12 miles down beautiful Ute Pass to enjoy the unique boutique shops of Manitou Springs and a little further is Old Colorado City. In 30 minutes you are in the middle of Colorado Springs and can visit the Cheyanne Mountain Zoo, Garden of the God’s or the Air Force Academy . If the ski slopes are your goal, the drive to Breckenridge is less than 100 miles over well maintained roads. A 1.5 hour drive to the The Royal Gorge is a fun way to spend the day or re-route to white water rafting in Buena Vista. Cripple Creek gambling is 30 miles away over picturesque, winding mountain roads.

For outdoor enthusiasts, you can hike from our home up to Rampart Range Road and on to Rampart Reservoir or the Northfield Reservoir. This hike is not for the fainthearted but it is beautiful. If this hike isn’t for you we have other hiking and biking trails close to our home and a short drive to Green Mountain Falls. Rock Climbing is a 20 min drive away or you can drive just outside of Woodland Park to go off-roading.

Come and enjoy some time away in the mountains at Peak View Chalet, where seclusion is attainable with the conveniences of the city.

Great place to stay. Perfect for us. This location made it easy to drive in either direction to visit our favorite attractions. Loved the peace and quiet. Great places to eat nearby in Woodland Park and Green Mountain Falls.

The views were amazing! It was the right size for a couple of people. The space was neat and clean, and all the amenities were available for us to use. The drive up was easy to follow. The hosts were friendly. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Gina‘s! She was a wonderful and helpful host. Everything was very clean and neat. The kitchen set up with awesome. The view was outstanding! Pikes Peak was gorgeous! There was shopping nearby, which made it very convenient.

Beautiful place to stay, the location and the home! Very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. I stayed here with my 17 yr. old grandson and we enjoyed the many visits from the dog. The host Gina was very responsive. Would come again and recommend to anyone wanting to come to the area.

Our stay at this property was excellent. The view of Pike’s Peak out the living room window was awesome. All rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. Communication with the host was quick and efficient. Check-out procedures were minimal and easy to understand. Occasional visits from the family dog…priceless.

Everything about this property was amazing. The view was stunning. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had, very friendly. The visits from the dog were appreciated, so sweet! If we are ever in the area again we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Hotel was clean and the view was incredible. I could see all the care they put into their guest by all the useful items they had for the guests to use. Don’t forget to look in the cabinet for the Walmart bags! Hosts were nice and their dog was so sweet. The only downside here was there was nice AC which seemed to be a common thing among other houses here and tolerable with a fan, which they provided. Overall it was a great stay and would definitely recommend. Also, close to manitou springs which was an adorable little town.

Everything was wonderful! Views are spectacular!! The only very small issue we had was that the code to the property gate didn’t work as it was supposed to but host responded immediately and the rest was great. Definitely will come back when in the area again.

The view left us breathless. Pikes Peak's rugged north face front and center became the focal point of our two nights. We enjoyed a comfortable bed and pleasant bathroom. A kitchen well supplied with the regular accoutrements including an assortment of spices welcomed guests to Ute Pass. Saturday morning, we hiked at Florissant National Monument. Sunny and warm weather reflected our relaxed pace. An afternoon and evening thunderstorm with rain calmed a busy day, and we settled in with fresh peach cobbler and a glass of wine. Complicated directions arrived late. As we waited at the gate at 4:30 for a text from the host, a group renting a nearby property through the same gate graciously provided the code for us to enter. Once inside, we overlooked the picture frame that contained pertinent information including WIFI instructions until late in our stay. A flurry of activity, both people and pets, in the rooms above translated to a noisy afternoon and evening as we heard every footfall. The view was certainly amazing.
