Cedar Ridge features a spacious open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, and 2.5 acres of peace and quiet. Two comfy couches, Roku TV's with streaming capabilities, and stunning stacked stone gas fireplace adorn the living room. Your fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, including an electric stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, cookware, and dishes for everyone. A central island offers ample prep space and casual seating for two. The adjoining dining room comfortably seats six.

The main level Primary Suite has a king size bed, dresser, ceiling fan, closet, and private ensuite bathroom with double vanities and walk-in shower.

The equally luxurious second main level bedroom has a queen size bed with similar features, including adjoining full bathroom, dresser, ceiling fan, and closet. A main level laundry room with full size washer and dryer completes the first floor.

The lower level is what makes this home flexible for larger groups or two families. Downstairs you will find the 3rd bedroom with king bed and spacious ensuite bathroom. One twin size bunk bed nestled in the corner is perfect for the kids in the group. Easy access out the downstairs door leads to a lower level with padded chairs for outside relaxing.

You want games…Cedar Ridge has games! The home is fully equipped with a pool table, ping pong table, playing cards, poker set, and countless board games. Head outside and you will find corn hole boards, horse shoes, ring toss, bocce ball, and can jam!

Lake Lure, just 3 miles up the road, offers lakefront dining, small town shopping, and family fun and adventure. Lake Lure Beach & Waterpark is a great place to take the kids with lifeguards standing watch as they play in the sand or slide down the waterslide. Around the lake you will find multiple marinas with boat rentals options, boat tours returning spring 2026, river tubing, fishing, golf courses, zip lining, and more! Chimney Rock National Park is not to be missed, with spectacular views, rock climbing, hiking, waterfalls, and so much more. Spend the day golfing at one of Lake Lure’s three golf courses or take some time to relax at the Rumbling Bald Spa and Salon. For a more private, at-home activity, walk out onto the property and pick your own blackberries, blueberries, or walnuts.

After an eventful day of exploring, roast marshmallows with your loved ones over the fire pit as you look up at the clear night sky to count the stars.

If you need to stay connected, Cedar Ridge has wifi and a work space equipped with chair and desk.

Nearby is the newly built Tryon Equestrian Center. It is not to be missed for outside (and inside) dining while watching different horse events, such as polo, jumping, gladiator matches, “Saturday Night Lights,” and more!

No matter the season, this adorable mountain home provides a perfect escape. Visit in the spring when the foliage is beginning to bloom and daytime temperatures average 60 degrees. Sip your morning coffee on the deck or relax away the afternoon in one of the outdoor chairs. Stay in the summer when the weather is perfect—warm but not humid. Unwind with the soothing breezes and views from the front porch.

Visit at year’s end and soak in the cozy log cabin feeling; the autumn colors in this area are breathtaking, and the winter weather opens an entirely new view with the leaves having from the trees. Stay warm by the fireplace, make a hot toddy, and relax with your loved ones.

Keyless entry will allow guests access to all areas of the home.

3-5 days prior to your arrival, I will send you an email with your entry code and details about the property.

Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen with granite counters, 5 flat-screen TVs with streaming, free WiFi, central heating and air, gas fireplace, in-unit washer and dryer, fire pit, game room, and private furnished deck.

Bedding, towels, and washcloths are all provided. The lower level is a bit chilly in the winter so I recommend brining your coziest blanket.

If you leave belongings behind, please contact the host immediately. If our cleaning crew is able to locate them, a $10 per item fee will be placed in addition to the shipping cost. Items not claimed will be donated or discarded.

Unless given written permission from the host, furniture is not to be moved from its original location. Indoor furniture is never allowed to be moved to the exterior.

No smoking: If you are a smoker, this is not the property for you. You will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $500 if it is discovered you have been smoking in the home.

Primary guest must be at least 25 years of age.

Pet friendly with $100 non-refundable fee. 2 dog max, less than 50 lbs. This includes service animals.

Parking fits ~3-4 cars and be sure to utilize the 2 carports! Motorcycles and RV's are also welcomed!

Unruly Behavior: Behavior deemed disorderly and causing a disturbance to the public is prohibited. These regulations will be strictly enforced.

Fire Protection: Fire Extinguisher, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors - This home is equipped with 2 fire extinguishers (under the kitchen sink and downstairs bathroom sink), smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors. Removing any of these from their designated location is prohibited. Avoid blocking hallways, doorways, steps, entrances, and exits.

In addition to the rent, the following charges apply:

- Cleaning fee: $225

- $50.00 minimum fee may be assessed for failure to properly remove/dispose of garbage from home (to avoid this fee, simply follow the Arrival/Departure Instruction sheet provided upon check-in and posted at the home)
