Surf Park House has a truly unique Jacksonville Beach story.
Originally built as an Army barracks at Camp Blanding, this home was moved to Jacksonville Beach by train in 1948. Today it has been completely renovated while still preserving a piece of local history. We hope you enjoy experiencing a little slice of Jacksonville Beach’s past while staying here.

Located just 3 short blocks to the ocean, Surf Park House places you right in the heart of Jacksonville Beach. Walk or bike to the beach, grab coffee, enjoy local restaurants, or meet friends at nearby beach bars. As Jacksonville Beach locals, we love sharing our community and all the incredible things that make the Beaches area special.

The home is pet friendly and features a large fenced backyard, making it perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.

We had a fabulous stay at Surf Park House. Everything you could possibly need or want was there for us. Extremely clean, great backyard, bedrooms a good size with lots of room for clothes and enough hangers, which is not always the case. Very happy with this place. The beach was 4 blocks directly from the home with the peir being a 8-10 min. walk down the beach. Would stay again. One of the nicer VRBOs we have stayed at in Jacksonville Beach over the last 4 yrs. Great to be able to have our dog and nice for the fenced in yard. Highly recommend. Wendy and Sam

It’s amazing to think about the journey this home has taken—from a military barracks to a welcoming beach retreat just blocks from the ocean.

As Jacksonville Beach locals, we love sharing this special place with visitors. The Beaches community is full of friendly people, great restaurants, surf culture, and outdoor adventures. Our goal is for guests to feel like they’re not just visiting, but experiencing Jacksonville Beach like a local.

We hope that while you’re here you’ll enjoy the same things we do—morning walks to the beach, bike rides through the neighborhood, great seafood nearby, and relaxing evenings under the coastal sky.

We chose this neighborhood because it truly captures the authentic Jacksonville Beach lifestyle. It’s the kind of place where you can walk or bike to the beach in just a few minutes, grab coffee or breakfast nearby, and end the day with dinner or live music at one of the local beach restaurants.

One of the things we love most is how close everything is. The ocean is just 3 blocks away, and restaurants, bars, and shops are even closer. You can park your car when you arrive and spend most of your time exploring the area on foot or by bike.

At the same time, the neighborhood still feels peaceful and residential, with friendly neighbors and a relaxed coastal vibe that makes Jacksonville Beach so special.

For us, this area represents the best of beach living—walkable, welcoming, and full of local character. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the sun, surf, and everything the Beaches community has to offer. 🏖️🏄‍♂️🐾
