DOG FRIENDLY Four Bedroom Near Ocean Sea Pines Home with Private Pool

Welcome to 16 Sandhill Crane - a third row ocean dog friendly home! This four bedroom, three and a half bathroom home is located very close to the beach in Sea Pines and can sleep a group of up to ten guests.

This is a dog friendly rental! The pet fee is $250 plus tax and covers up to two dogs maximum. If you are planning on bringing your doggo, please reach out to our office in advance to pay the additional fee and confirm your four legged BFF.

Relax by the private pool and soak in the sunshine! A gas grill is located by the pool and propane will be provided for the grill.

The living room has ample seating and a large flat screen television. It’s open to the kitchen, dining area and a sunporch. The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and even a flat screen television. The mini-bar in the living room has a sink and wine-fridge. A powder room is located close by as well.

The dining room table can seat up to ten guests & there is additional bar top seating available at the kitchen island. The sunporch off the living room has more seating and even a table.

The master bedroom offers a king bed and flat screen television. The private bath features his and her sinks plus a walk-in shower. There is a small porch off this bedroom with a couple of chairs to relax in as well!

The second bedroom has one queen bed and two twin beds + a small flat screen television. The private bathroom has a shower/tub combo.

Bedroom three has a queen bed and bedroom four has two twin beds. Both bedrooms have flat screen televisions and they share a jack-and-jill bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

• Pool Info: The kidney shaped pool is approximately 29 feet by 9 feet. The pool can be heated seasonally for an additional fee. The pool can only be heated for stays falling between Labor Day through Memorial Day for an additional fee. No pool heat is available during the summer months. Please email or call Coastal Home and Villa at least two weeks prior to your arrival if you would like to add pool heat + pay fee.

• Dog Friendly: This home permits a max of two dogs to stay in the home. The pet fee is $250 plus tax – please reach out to our office in advance to confirm and pay the additional pet fee.

• 2,512 Square Feet

• Paying guest reservations staying between 4-27 nights will receive a $250 VayK Life beach/bike gear credit. This will be emailed to you after making a reservation and is valid for VayK Life rentals only.

• Parking: There is parking available at the home for up to four cars max. Parking passes are an additional $17/pass per week. If you require more than the allotted amount of parking spots, please call Coastal Home and Villa for options. The garage is not available for guest use.

Proximity to the beach was a top priority along with a nice size pool and this home covered these perfectly. Being in Sea Pines is so much fun because of the fabulous bike paths, South Beach shops (and the ice cream) and Harbor Town!!! The dining room table fit all of us easily and the kitchen was easy to navigate. Wish there was a 2nd refrigerator because we eat in a lot but the beverage cooler helped. Loved being able to bring my 12 year old pup back to Hilton Head... thank you!!!

Cute home by the Beach

We stayed a week in June the home was perfect. Everything was on one floor in the home, which was perfect for my mother who requires a walker. The deck had some steps, but it was manageable. The pool was perfect and had just the right amount of shade and sun. Plenty of biking paths inside and outside of Sea Pines. Just a short walk to the beach, which was ideal. I would definitely recommend this property.

Nice home but missing the necessities for a great vacation

The home and location was very nice. However the outdoor space was not ideal. The outdoor furniture was very worn, outdated and not well maintained/dirty. The outdoor furniture cushions on the side porch were moldy. The outdoor dining table was stained very worn and not somewhere you would want to eat. Size tables were covered in green mold/stained. The lack of light at the pool area at night was hard to enjoy the outdoor spaces. Ice maker, shower head and handle were broken. (Property manager responded right away to fix) Missing a lot of basic items like an iron or a laundry pod or two. No broom. Kitchen basics like salt and pepper or coffee filters. I believe some things need to be updated to make this a better listing

Perfect house in perfect location

It was perfect for our extended family ages 8-75. All the beds were very comfortable, and there were large areas for gathering as well as private areas for quiet moments apart. The kitchen was equipped with every pan or utensil you could possibly want. The pool chaises have been upgraded and are better than those shown in the photos. The dishwasher was satisfactory but will need an upgrade soon. Our only very small quibble is that it would have been nice to have very basic food supplies kept in the kitchen.....salt, pepper, olive oil and a few packets of sugar. A bit more silverware would have been nice for a house this big. Otherwise this is the best house we’ve ever stayed in for our vacations in Sea Pines. We especially appreciated being allowed to bring our dog along! So often houses that allow dogs are a bit worn out......this home was beautiful and pristine! Thank you!

There was plenty of room for parking as our children are now coming from different areas of the East Coast to join us. Thank you for allowing us to bring our dogs. They had an enjoyable vacation as well. We love the location in Sea Pines as it is close to the Ocean Gate. We rented bikes and rode throughout Sea Pines as well as up and down the beach. The property management company was very responsive, organized and easy to work with. Communication and instructions for accessing the property were excellent. Looking forward to returning in the future!

Needs some updates and better housekeeping crew.

We arrived a couple hours earlier than anticipated, called and asked if we could get in early. Was told they would text us when we could, never got a text at all, but then found out later a side door was not locked after housekeeping left. We made sure everything was locked when we left. Shower pressure in and out, turning hot to cold then back, long black hairs were all over in Q, T, T bedroom, very disgusting. Bedspreads need to be washed! For as nice of a home and cost to rent, this home really needs some updates and TLC….new deck or at least a fresh coat of paint, lounge chairs by pool, their paint is coming off, (let guests know when the pool caretakers are coming, was caught off guard and went outside, saw a strange man in the pool area then they were back an hour later putting something under the deck), screen door on glassed-in patio doesn’t slide, a/c in same room doesn’t work. Lock between garage and home rusty, hard to open, but the worst was the trash receptacle. It had trash thrown in it (not in a bag), old milk carton and other trash, a mucky stinking mess in the bottom. So we had to clean it out ourselves, no mask or rubber gloves, gagging the whole time from the smell. The property managers need to come regularly and check everything out because housekeeping isn’t/doesn’t do that. Out of all the comments (the black hair, bedspreads needing washed, and nasty garbage can area was the worst problems for us), just wanting to bring to someone’s attention things that could use some improvement for future guests.

Fabulous Family Beach Vacation

We spent a week with family and our 2 dogs at this beautiful home only 3 rows back from the beach! A great location in Sea Pines with a very short walk to the beach. The proximity to the beach makes it easy to go back and forth throughout the day. We spent mornings at the beach and afternoons at the pool. The home is very spacious with plenty of room for family and guests. We enjoyed the well apportioned kitchen and dining area as well as the closed in porches, spacious living room and wet bar. We rented bikes to ride on the beach as well as to explore Sea Pines and Coligny Plaza. Check in and check out was quick and easy right at the property. We look forward to returning in the future! Thank you to our hosts for allowing us to spend the week in your lovely home!
