Thank you so much for having us as guests in your beautiful home. It had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. If anything was missing, it was always easy to ask.The location is perfect for day trips and simply relaxing and enjoying the area. We would love to come back again.

Warm, friendly host. Apartment was clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed. We appreciated the quiet, peaceful setting, and hearing Bellbirds singing in nearby trees was magical. We found the cutest coffee shop on one of the nearby streets (Camp Hill Road) with live music and the best chai latte I’ve had in ages. The apartment is lovely and handy to both Lake Hāwea and Wānaka, and if you want a nice day trip, Queenstown is only an hour and a half away.

no - shampoo, conditioner- facial tissue for mealtime- paper towel for kitchenold & well-used (should be replaced)- kitchen dishwashing towel- low quality plates and cups with colour faded and plenty scratched marks- dirty kettlebathroom leaking all these are little things of its own, but adding up have unfortunately affected the experience. Hopefully these can be improved in the future, so the guests can have better experience

I am sorry to hear you were not happy with the apartment. We do not intend to supply shampoo or conditioner nor facial tissues for meal times as we are a well priced air BnB and do not wish to put our prices up to accommodate those extra consumables. I’m not sure I knew the bathroom was leaking? The kettle had some slight calcium build up from our hard water, we usually do check this but obviously it was missed . Our sincere apologies. The plates are obviously not up to your standard, so I suggest you may be better booking 5 star hotels at a price of around $450 per night compared to well under $200 for an air BnB. Home away from home

Cozy home in beautiful location

The check in and check out process was seamless, entering an amazing home which felt cozy, clean and comfortable. We had all the amenities we needed, and the hosts Sandie and Barry were easy to communicate with. From this place we could easily visit Wanaka and Lake Hawea.

We loved our stay here at Hawea Flat. It’s a very, very comfortable apartment, fully equipped, very quiet and peaceful and a great place to enjoy Lake Hawea and Wanaka from. We really enjoyed making friends with Bella the cat as well :-) Thank you Sandie for a great stay!

Perfect stay in Hawea Flat

The unit had everything we needed and was in a nice quiet location. We loved the floor heating in the bathroom. A short drive from Wanaka and the snow fields, it was perfectly suited for our stay and planned activities.
