Prefect location, locals told us this is one of the best suburbs. We found it prefectly located near parliament house.Great house, very practical with dishwasher and large fridge.

Good location. Close to local shops and CBD Parking is on another street and is a tight squeeze for big cars to park in the carport. Otherwise you park on the street. The ground unit is has a lot of light in the living area and is a reasonable size unit If any one is renting upstairs the sound proofing is not good. The host is very helpful, friendly and easy to communicate with. Overall a nice place to stay

Beautiful place to stay

Very satisfying stay, location was perfect close to everything clean and lovely very quiet area. host of property was excellent lovely lady friendly would recomend this property to stay

Great place in a wonderful location

We had a really great 10 days here. The place is well equipped to do almost anything, and the location is really central to the key tourist attractions in Canberra.

After some initial electrical issues which were resolved quickly, we settled into the property and had a lovely stay for the rest of the week.

3 days in Canberra

Beautifully appointed home in a really nice quiet location. Comfy beds and seating. Bedrooms and bathroom layout give plenty of privacy for all parties. Plenty of crockery, towels and cleaning products. Just marked down one star as only had 1 saucepan but 6 frying pans. Very easy access to city and major tourist sites. Would be happy to stay there again.

It’s a lovely house but quite run down. Locking the front door was a real challenge as the lock has deteriorated. There was a lot of dust and floor tiles had quite a few dirty spots. I am not confident the bedding has been changed since last occupants. Lastly the only smoke alarm in the house was not working which is a real concern in case of fire. The towels provided were quite old and worn.

Overall a nice place to stay but bathrooms need attention. Clogged drain we had to clean in one. The ensuite had mould growing in the grouting of the shower which had obviously been growing for some time. Dishwasher can’t be used as the door won’t shut.

Listing pictures are quite dated, maybe the original. Overall spacious area but disjointed rooms with various pieces of mismatched furniture. In the kitchen, you can see through to the master bathroom shower with a minimally opaque window which is highly uncomfortable especially if you aren’t staying with family. Rooms were not clean (food on floor / under couches and on all the dining room chair cushions). Very chilly at night (October) with one small space heater. No extra bath towels, one per person. Walking distance to a couple of shops a few blocks away. Safe and quiet area.

Arrived to a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. The bathroom unuesable as shower drain not working and floods bathroom. Power cuts out when you use more then one appliance and bottom room had a small heater that wasnt great, so room was cold.Do not recommend.
