Great place in a wonderful location

We had a really great 10 days here. The place is well equipped to do almost anything, and the location is really central to the key tourist attractions in Canberra.

3 days in Canberra

Beautifully appointed home in a really nice quiet location. Comfy beds and seating. Bedrooms and bathroom layout give plenty of privacy for all parties. Plenty of crockery, towels and cleaning products. Just marked down one star as only had 1 saucepan but 6 frying pans. Very easy access to city and major tourist sites. Would be happy to stay there again.

Listing pictures are quite dated, maybe the original. Overall spacious area but disjointed rooms with various pieces of mismatched furniture. In the kitchen, you can see through to the master bathroom shower with a minimally opaque window which is highly uncomfortable especially if you aren’t staying with family. Rooms were not clean (food on floor / under couches and on all the dining room chair cushions). Very chilly at night (October) with one small space heater. No extra bath towels, one per person. Walking distance to a couple of shops a few blocks away. Safe and quiet area.

Arrived to a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. The bathroom unuesable as shower drain not working and floods bathroom. Power cuts out when you use more then one appliance and bottom room had a small heater that wasnt great, so room was cold.Do not recommend.

After some initial electrical issues which were resolved quickly, we settled into the property and had a lovely stay for the rest of the week.

What to expect on arrival:

Upon arrival at the address, you may park off-street via our shared 6-car car space and driveway. Additional street parking also available. Once in, you will be greeted by our Dining & Living area upfront, then right in the middle of the suite is our fully equipped kitchen, to the right past the Kitchen is the Main Bedroom with bathroom 1 access. Straight through from the living room is the second bedroom with access to Bathroom 2. Out the front is our vibrant garden area easily enjoyed indoors by the dining area through the large sized windows.
