An upstairs 1 bedroom apartment, sleeps 2, with sitting room, fully equipped kitchen, Queen bedroom, bathroom with shower, terrace overlooking gardens, WiFi, Air Conditioning, off street parking, is 1 block from our quaint downtown shops, museums and restaurants, and a convenient 4 block walk to the colleges. Hiking (Woods Creek Trail, Chessie Trail) and biking are popular activities in the area. The nearby Maury River has great angling opportunities. https://lexingtonvirginia.com/events has a wealth of events taking place locally.

This is a very charming place to stay in the town of historic Lexington, VA. It is conveniently located with easy parking. If you are visiting your child at VMI or W&L University it is the ideal place to stay!

Mary was an outstanding hostess! She went above and beyond when I left a few items behind.The Castle was a quaint pied a terre that made me want stay for a full month. The history, natural light, comfortable decor, and location made it a favorite place to stay in Lexington. Thank you!

Wonderful place and location

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely place. It was very clean, well appointed, nicely decorated and in a great location. It's within walking distance to all locations in Lexington - colleges, dining and shopping. Owner was easy to communicate with prior and during our visit. Highly recommend this lovely place and will definitely return.

Wonderful Stay

The Castle was just as advertised. Location was great. Easy to access the town of Lexington as well as W&L. Communication with Mary was great. The space was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again.

Great Place

Very nice and clean property. Right in the heart of Lexington. I was able to walk to dinner/drinks at night. Really a perfect place. Will stay here every time I travel to Lexington.

Perfect Fall Getaway

We love visiting Lexington and now we have a new favorite place to stay. This property has it all the luxuries of a modern home yet it's one of the oldest buildings in Lexington. Very cool place! The location can't be beat and the host, Mary, was very welcoming. We will definitely stay here again....and again!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the historic “Castle” in Lexington. It has been completely refurbished and is very comfortable. It is also conveniently located in downtown Lexington one block off of Main Street. It makes for an easy walk for shopping and dining, and to VMI and W&L. I highly recommend it.

Attractive apartment

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend stay at The Castle. It was well equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the terrace in the evenings. The spot was very convenient to W&L.

Lexington in town gem

This apartment offers perfect comfort for 2 with a full living room , kitchen, patio and queen bedroom. It is within walking distance to both W &L and VMI and all downtown restaurants. Mary was an attentive and gracious hostess. It was perfect for our needs.
