*Diamond Solitaire is the only 1-bedroom unit on the top floor of the 5-star Diamond Beach resort at the end of the famous Galveston Island seawall. The unit's private balcony has expansive views of the beach and 750' lazy river. The resort also has a 300' outdoor cascade pool, 2 hot tubs, indoor heated pool, cabanas and grills to reserve, sand volleyball court, stadium-seating movie theater, professionally-designed gym, game room with arcades, pool table, and more. The unit also has a Tempurpedic king bed, fold-out sofa in the living room, 2 TVs, well-stocked kitchen, WiFi, Amazon Echo and FireStick to keep you company or play your favorite movies or music. Diamond Solitaire is the perfect, upscale beach vibe rental.

Perfect place!

This was the best place we have ever stayed! The stay was perfect, and there was so much to do right where we were at! The room was clean, and had everything we needed. The owners were so easy to work with and communicated so well. I would highly recommend to others, and we will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were great and quick to respond to questions. Condo was clean and well-appointed. Walking access to the beach without having to cross Seawall Blvd was great! Floating the lazy river every evening was the perfect way to unwind, and the massive pool was lovely as well. The hot tubs are large so it wasn’t awkward being in there with strangers. We hope to return!

Relaxing Stay on Galveston Beach

Immaculate condo, location and view were perfect, well appointed with everything we needed and more, plus the owners were available for questions should any arise. I would not hesitate to recommend this condo. You could do as little as you want in this area or as much as your heart desires.

Great location if as a smart grandparent you know your grandchildren will ultimately prefer the pool over the beach. Plenty of shallow water swimming pool area on property.Safe, easy access to beach for sunrise/sunset walks before it gets too hot for the little ones. Seahorse grill walking distance (across busy street) offer reasonably priced breakfast, lunch and dinner for all ages and is actually pretty good made to order comfort food.

Diamond Beach is a beautiful resort. Th condo was exceptional- cleanliness and many little extras making it feel like home- even had a decorated Christmas tree. Highly recommend this condo!!!

Lovely Condo in Galveston

We had a great time over a long 4th of July weekend. The condo is very clean, and the check in process was easy. The owners checked in with us frequently, and all instructions were printed clearly in advance - we didn't have any issues at all throughout our stay. The property itself is very nice, and I was impressed with the service levels of the staff at the property - friendly and fast. Nice, clean, and comfortable bed, bath, and kitchen (with a view of the waves on the beach from the kitchen and living room).

Definitely not a Penthouse. Had to fill bathtub with shower head. Toaster only browned one side of toast. Vinyl stools on kitchen counter were torn from wear. Definitely needs a lot of work.

This is the cutest condo, perfect for a weekend getaway. It had everything you might need, was clean, and was decorated so cute. We relaxed and enjoyed the amenities. The lazy river was especially nice. Can’t wait to go back again!

The owners are local islanders. This unit has been a personal home (for a time), beach vacation home, and has been rented out to friends and family (with the occasional paying guest). If you want to know a good local place to eat, wining-&-dining are their expertise so feel free to ask for recommendations.
