Top Floor Diamond Beach 701 - Queen of Diamonds has amazing ocean and city views. Large 2 bedroom, 2 bath, sleeps 6. From the moment you walk into the Queen of Diamonds on the Penthouse floor of The Diamond Beach Resort, guests will have the most highly sought after floor plan offered at the resort. This is the very large two bedroom, two bath unit that is located on the easternmost corner of Diamond Beach - offering 1385 square feet interior and 210 square feet of outdoor patio space to enjoy both city views and full Gulf of Mexico views high atop The Diamond Beach Resort.

This very special property has a curved wall of glass that surrounds the spacious open concept living/dining/kitchen area with direct views to the Gulf of Mexico as well as the view of the evening fireworks that take place at Moody Gardens on summer weekend nights and other special occasions. This unit boasts a view from every living area including both bedrooms! Updated, custom kitchen with large island, custom cabinetry and stainless appliances. A view to the water while you prepare the spectacular "fresh catch" of the day. The primary bedroom features king size bed and en suite bath with walk in shower and flat screen television, The second bedroom has two twin beds, flat screen television and a gorgeous view of the water. Second bath has deep soaking tub to relax after a long day enjoying all of the amenities of The Diamond Beach Resort.

Amenities at The Diamond Beach Resort include a cascading 300' swimming pool with a 750' lazy river and water slide, private cabanas and beach access. The Diamond Beach Resort also offers an indoor heated pool, concierge service and a business center (if you must!), while children play in the jungle room. Ocean Cinema has some scheduled films or you can reserve a private showing for your guests. Wine and dine in the elegant private dining area. Amenities also include a fitness center, game room and conference room. Amenities are available at the DISCRETION of the resort or property. A usage fee may apply for some of the amenities. Ryson makes no guarantee as to the availability of amenities at The Diamond Beach Resort.

If you have a larger group, please also consider booking Diamond Beach 702 (next door) which is a 3 bedroom 2 bath that will accommodate 8 guests for a total of 14! Ask your reservation agent please at Ryson Vacation Rentals.

DIAMOND BEACH RESORT
Diamond Beach Resort is a five-star, luxury getaway, located on the West End, just at the end of the Seawall, world’s longest continuous sidewalk. All units offer a private balcony with expansive and unobstructed Gulf Views. Guest will be able to watch the waves roll in and crash against the Seawall, watch the seagulls and pelicans fly overhead and look down below to the outdoor pool and lazy river, without leaving your condo. Diamond Beach Resort amenities include a three-tiered 300′ cascading infinity outdoor pool, 750′ outdoor lazy river (guests must bring own tubes), (peak season 11 am – 7 pm), two outdoor hot tubs, outdoor swim-up bar and grill (peak season), sand volleyball court, cornhole, chess, ping pong, grills (9 am – 7 pm by reservation), cabana rentals (9 am – 5 pm by reservation), outdoor shower, indoor heated pool, outdoor veranda perfect for watching the sunset, game room, Ocean Movie Theater (open to public before 3 pm and private reservations after that time), Wine and Dine Room, children’s Jungle Playroom, 24/7 fitness center, 24/7 business center, conference room, vending machines, secure building and gated community.

Some amenities are seasonal only.

This was our second time staying in this room and it was amazing!! Having the pool and the beach right there makes it so much easier to just park your car and enjoy everything the property has to offer. Will definitely be looking forward to coming back!!

The best things about this place are the view and the pool. But there are too many things wrong to justify the price of staying here.First, the kitchen has a roach problem. I killed 8 of them. They come out when the lights are off. Second, the beach is a lot further than 30 yards away, as the description says. It’s about 1,500 feet from the room to a spot on the beach. I measured via Google Maps. Those are my two biggest issues with the place. There are others things like the water temp on the showers is impossible to figure out.The parking situation is also suspect, as I had to park across the street at the liquor store one night. It was Fourth of July weekend so I understand it was crowded but half the cars didn’t have paper in the dash and there’s no enforcement. The pool area is fantastic. It’s at the level of a Caribbean resort. Spend most of your time at the pool. Otherwise, I would not recommend staying here.

We have stayed in other units at Diamond Beach and have not encountered what we encountered in unit #701. We sent an inquiry regarding the unit before arrival and after arrival; both times the host (V-trips) said they would get back with us and did not. The unit is spacious but one bedroom is very small. The vrbo picture says two full-size beds but the beds are really twin size and very uncomfortable. There is very little space in this room. This bedroom had half drank alcoholic beverage bottles under the night stand and under the twin beds. This room had not been cleaned properly. We saw roaches in the kitchen and dining room area. The second bath had only hot water in the shower. We chose not to have maintenance interrupt our stay to come assess/fix the water. The dining room chairs had broken worn out seats and were uncomfortable. The game room games were mostly broken and there were kids running wild without supervision. Security was sent to the game room and one member of my family was harassed by security. I was present in the game room when they accused my family member of being unattended in the game room. The front desk attendant said they/security was doing their job by questioning my family member --- yet they admitted they had cameras/video and knew who was running wild and then harassed someone else. We will definitely not stay in this unit again even though we love Diamond Beach resort and hope that the game room is updated in the future.

Indeed. It was an exceptional view. Highly encourage you to take a long look at this place. We are true beach bums, we go out and flop for hours at a time. This location seems more geared to the folks that like a more diverse experience. There is a great beach. They also have a great lazy river, a pool, a spa, a theater etc. All first class. In addition, Galveston proper is a short 1/2 mile away. Really a great option for people looking to do it all.

Perfect Getaway

It’s become a yearly tradition to visit Diamond Beach Resort, as always my favorite spot to hang out is the lazy river. The condo was super nice & super clean & exactly how it was described!

Start to summer!

The property and condo were beautiful!! The homemade biscuits and gravy I made our first morning there tasted amazing on the balcony!! The only thing I seen that could use some work is the path to the beach from the property. We chalked it up to the construction that was going on beside the building as to why it hadn’t been cleaned up a little but other than that it was worth the stay!
