Room was clean, had all of the essentials and the view was amazing. The property manager was very quick to respond to any communication. Check in was straightforward and simple. The resort itself was a ton of fun with lots of activities for the kids. The pools and waterslides were perfect for my young kids who had a blast. A highly recommended resort and property.

Nice stay

Our family of 5 came to stay for an event at the convention center. It was very convenient to the venue, beach access, and onsite dining. Food was a little pricey, but we did have the luxury of a full kitchen to take advantage of. It rained a good bit of our trip so we spent a lot if time at the water park which was such a lifesaver with the kids.

Wonderful vacation

Great vacation had by all! Escaping the summer heat and harsh sun with all the indoor activities was a game changer. Excellent access to the beach. Restaurant food was amazing, the kids were entertained 100% of the time. The property itself had everything we needed. We would definitely consider coming back for another week.

I paid way more money than this was worth. The room itself is rundown and in need of repair. The beds are awful, so hard I woke up in pain daily. Curtains have holes, shower was gross and water pressure was mediocre. The communication was absolutely horrible from booking until checkin. I never received the door code, had to call several times to get it and finally get in the room. I do not recommend using Luxury Beach Rentals to anyone. I’ll stick to private owners from now on.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry your stay at Dunes Village Resort 1109 fell short of expectations. The issues you described — worn condition, uncomfortable beds, torn curtains, an unclean shower, low water pressure, and the breakdown in delivering your door code — are unacceptable. We will share your notes with our housekeeping, maintenance, and operations teams so these items and our check-in process are addressed. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and apologize for the experience.

Overall the spot was excellent for beach access. The pool was good for the kids to keep them busy if we weren’t on the beach. The day we arrived the dryer didn’t work, and looked like it was broke down for some time. I called it in and they said they would send it up. So after the weekend I checked back in about it. They said there staff looked at it which never happened. They sent a technician out to look at it and all he said was yeah you need a new one. Never heard anything after that. It was really inconvenient for a big family. The place says free of smoking but that’s a lie, there was some nights we couldn’t even sit out on our balcony to enjoy the view because of the overwhelming smell. So would I recommend this place? No, not for a family anyways. The

Okay but great water park amenities for children

Overall it was an okay visit. The water park amenities were awesome for the children as well as the activities. Cleanliness of the room was 3 out of 5 considering our precious stays were at least 4 or 5 out of 5 stars. Check-in desk seemed a bit lacking on hospitality on this time around as well. Hopefully things will turn around.

Great location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit itself and facility was pretty dated. The decor and appliances had definitely seen better days. But the beach sure made up for it!!! Such a beautiful location and so clean. We didn’t eat on site so I can’t speak to the restaurants but everything you could want was super close, but not too close. Get enough from the action of the Boardwalk but yet close enough to still get there quickly if you wanted to. We had an amazing time and cannot wait to go back!

Good place for kid friendly fun

This resort was great for kids with several pools and play areas including enclosed areas that were open rain or shine. The oceanfront balcony was nice for relaxing and listening to the waves. The unit was adequate for our family of 4. Full kitchen had everything we needed. The sliding bathroom door was difficult to open/close and needed a good cleaning. The bedroom door locks are on the outside of the room which was odd and useless. We only received 5 towels/washcloth sets, no extras were provided under the sink as stated in check in packet. Overall this was a nice place to stay.
