Lovely property. Not maintained by this companyDirty underwear from previous guests found on floor/uncleanBack Step not Safe and not Marked/Fell due to its unusual nature No Gas in Tanksun safe burner on stove Outside shower not working as advertised Random Hot water not long enough for showersFront patio door could not be usedUnsatisfactory and no resolution to issues from companyWill not rent again if Del Mar shows up when saying we will be able to contact the owner ! Would recommend that VRBO consider not using them in the future

The location near Red River Beach, large backyard, new outdoor patio, and peaceful cul-de-sac setting make it a favorite for families looking to relax and explore the best of Harwich Port and beyond. Thank you for your feedback — I hear that your experience at Deer Run Hideaway didn’t meet your expectations, and I’m truly sorry you left feeling that way. I understand how frustrating it can be when things don’t go as planned on vacation, and I did my best to respond quickly and fairly. I visited the property myself to inspect the issues you mentioned. Some were easily addressed — others, like the stove, hot water, and outdoor shower, were tested and found to be in working order. I also offered a refund as a gesture of goodwill, even though many of the concerns could have been resolved during your stay had I been given the opportunity. I do want to clarify that the listing is accurate, and the home is professionally cleaned and maintained between every guest. The propane tank was full, and the patio door and other systems were operational — but I know that user preferences and expectations vary, and I always want guests to feel comfortable reaching out if they need help with anything at the home. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts, and I’ll continue using feedback like this to improve the guest experience wherever I can. Sincerely, Jacqui
