We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and overall had a good experience. The property was nice, comfortable, and worked well for our weekend getaway. The location was convenient and we had everything we needed. There were a few small things that could be improved, but nothing that ruined our trip. Overall, a pleasant stay and a good option for a weekend getaway.

The apartment was ok, clean.. the pictures look amazing but in person its much different .. anyway the location is good.. I was happy that the apartment didn’t have a moldy smell.. I wish there was more cleaning supplies and stuff (like seasoning, plastic wrap, detergent and so forth) .. One of the TV’s wasn’t working but that’s ok.. We were thankful for the washing machine and quite neighborhood .. there is no jacuzzi, plus was way to hot to be outside .. wish we had some bikes to bike around the neighborhood.. other then that we enjoyed our stay … Detwiler’s Farm Market is 20-25min walking and driving 3 min.. Publix is across the street ..

The property is in a remodeled apartment complex which was a bit deterrent at first but the inside of the unit and sitting area out back were beautifully done. The unit was very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The best part of this property is the excellent communication and response form the owner or property manager Doris. A small issue that we had was resolved promptly and with much consideration. It was very much appreciated.

Great for families

Condo was amazing! Spacious rooms and a beautiful outdoor seating area. The pool was well maintained and not crowded at all. The few times I had to reach out to my host she was quick to respond and very friendly. Will definitely be staying with her again if I'm in the area.

Perfect for family, very clean, just as pictured!

Every part of our stay was perfect, in part because of where we stayed. It was very clean and decorated beautifully. It had the amenities we needed, including a washer and dryer. We were able to prepare meals, lounge on the patio, and were close enough to enjoy the beach. Communication was quick and Doris was so helpful. The whole experience was perfect. We loved our stay, thank you so much!

A Reasonably Priced Oasis

Don't let the plain exterior fool you! This roomy, clean, well stocked bit of heaven was a highlight of our recent trip to Florida. New sofa and beds are quite comfortable. Little outdoor area was shaded and perfect for wine and cheese at sunset. Washer/Dryer came in handy. Snacks were left for us, and best of all 6 minutes for the beach. Stocked with 6 new beach chairs, umbrellas and plenty of beach towels, allowed us to just head out to Siesta Key whenever the mood hit us. Enjoyed the place very much!

The condo was clean, the location was convenient, and the owner was responsive when issues were reported. She also provided a 100 refund, which we appreciated. However, there were several concerns during our stay. We noticed uneven floorboards that could be a tripping hazard, especially for children. The bathtub spout in one bathroom unexpectedly detached while my child was bathing, causing water to spray forcefully. Thankfully, my husband was able to catch it before anyone was injured. Although it was repaired the next day, promised at 9:30am, ended up being 5pm, the water in that bathroom never became adequately hot, so we had to use the second bathroom for showers.Asdutionally, one bedroom is directly above the stairwell, and every time someone used the stairs, the room shook noticeably, like a tornado. The noise made it difficult to sleep, and even from sleeping on the sofa, footsteps and movement from people entering and exiting the building could be clearly heard. We also found several unlocked windows upon arrival, and one bedroom window facing the parking lot had a broken lock, which raised security concerns.I am sharing this information so future guests can make an informed decision. While the owner was communicative and attempted to address concerns, the maintenance, noise, and security issues affected our overall experience.

Thank you for your feedback. As a 4.85-star Premier Host, I believe future travelers deserve additional context. On the day of your arrival, before the published 4:00 PM check-in time, I received an aggressive message asking when you could enter the condo. Despite this, I accommodated an early check-in at 12:30 PM. During your stay, your party broke the bathtub spout. I immediately visited the property and arranged a handyman and licensed plumber. Although it was a weekend and parts had to be obtained, the repair was completed the same day. I did not charge you for the broken fixture, the handyman, the plumber, or any repair costs. I covered all expenses and also provided a $100 refund to help de-escalate an increasingly tense situation. The hot water claim is difficult to understand, as both bathrooms and the kitchen are supplied by the same water heater. The stairwell comment was also surprising. This is a condominium community with shared common areas, and I have never previously received this complaint for this unit. The most challenging aspect was the tone of communication. Despite responding immediately, arranging repairs, covering all costs, and providing compensation, no solution seemed to meet your expectations. Guests have the right to leave reviews, just as hosts have the right to share their experience. I believe I did everything possible to resolve the concerns quickly and fairly.

I'm Doris, your host. I grew up in Europe, but I was always cold. I found the city of my dreams, Sarasota, where the sky is almost always blue and the sun is shining.
I often go for a morning walk to Siesta and I am always grateful to live in this beautiful city.
I studied hospitality and I love (almost) every part of it! I work with wonderful people, cleaners who love cleanliness, handymen who come as soon as I call them if something needs to be fixed. I am very proud of my team, great people. We work every day to ensure that our guests have a wonderful holiday.
