A short 1-hour 20-minute drive from Dallas to Lakeside Paradise offers something for everyone in the family. A unique and clean 2-bedroom 2-bath lakefront Log Cabin with views of the lake from the home and three decks (includes one covered porch), perfect for entertaining.
Enjoy our fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary appliances and an outdoor grill/smoker for your cooking pleasure. Gathering at the fire pit in the front of the property with beautiful landscaping is sure to make memories and the breeze off the water is priceless. There is a boat dock with an upper deck to enjoy the views of the lake. Enjoy the wood-burning fireplace in the living room.
Wi-Fi and DIRECTV are included. There is a washer and dryer to accommodate longer visits.
Our goal is to make your stay carefree and relaxing. We hope you enjoy our vacation home and we look forward to your visit.

Beautiful inside and out

This property is very beautiful. The sunset and the lake are simply breathtaking. My husband and I had the most relaxing time ever. The host go above and beyond to make your stay great.

A gem on the lake

Want a peaceful getaway with great lake views, awesome sunsets, and all the amenities you could want? Then this is your place! We enjoyed our stay in the authentic log cabin, and didn’t want to leave. Fabulous, attentive host made our stay even more special!

"Old Friends" Gathering

The cabin was the perfect place for part of our larger group! It was well appointed and very tidy. So nice to have two bathrooms! We will definitely be back!

Awesome log cabin getaway on the lake

Karen proactively reached out days ahead of our arrival and discussed the stay details with us to ensure that the stay was comfortable for all of us. The host stays very closeby but the property offers a lot of privacy. The cabin is beautifully designed and had all the essentials well-organized. The place is planned so well and had shades, fan and air-cooler that we could spend most of the time outdoors with kids. The cabin feels like a mountain home with ample space outdoors and nestled between trees. It is situated in a very safe neighborhood. Has easy access to water, beautiful multi-tier decks. Ours was a party of 4 adults and 2 kids. There was one queen bed, a futon and a blow-up bed. (The blow-up bed was not great for a full night sleep was what our friends mentioned. Karen did offer stay for 2 people in the little cottage next door as the bunk beds were not ready but we didn’t opt for the cottage as we preferred to spend our time together in the cabin. So it was on us) One of us in our group uses a wheelchair, most parts of the house and outdoor decks were accessible. Karen had thoughtfully placed a wooden plank at the entrance to ensure smooth access. We plan to stay there again. Thank you Karen for a wonderful stay arrangement.

We enjoyed this cabin so much so peaceful such a beautiful location on the lake. We even were present pleasantly surprised with Christmas Lights when we arrived and it was such a wonderful touch.

Great little cabin

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The rental, check in and check out process was a breeze. The location is great, it’s very quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend staying here. We’ll definitely be back!

Back to Nature

Beautiful place if you enjoy nature and rustic log homes! Two problems with our stay: 1) We had less sitting and sleeping furniture because of a broken futon in the living room. We did not want to sit on it or sleep on it!! 2) We had a wonderful stay until the afternoon of our departure! Contractors showed up as my granddaughter and I were sleeping, my husband and son were in the other bedroom having a conference call, and my pregnant daughter-in-law was in the living room . The men were cussing and the fumes from the product they were putting on the deck ramp where we needed to exit was coming into the house!! Our daughter-in-law was so very upset that this went on for 45 minutes!! Thank you for asking!! Pam Lacock
