Large Lower East Side MKE flat (sleeps 10) near Brady Street & N Water Street

Our classic Milwaukee duplex was built in 1900 and is full of charm! If you know Milwaukee, you know that the lower east side is one of the best places to be and we are located right between Brady Street and Water Street (minutes from Fiserv Forum, Bradford Beach, the River Walk, and too many bars and restaurants to count.

Home Highlights:
- This is the upper unit of a classic Milwaukee duplex.
- Over 1300 square feet of living space
- The second floor of this building is the main floor of this upper unit and has the living room, dining room, kitchen, a full bathroom, and two bedrooms (one with a queen sized bunk bed and the other with a full bed).
- The third floor of the third floor of the building is the upstairs of this unit and has one large bedroom with two king beds, one walk-thru room with a futon, and a full bathroom located between the large bedroom and the walk-thru room.
- Laundry facilities are locate in the basement of the building (shared space with the lower unit)
- Both bathrooms have walk-in shower stalls (no bath tub in either)
- Unit has it's own private front and back entrances.
- There is a small back yard and front porch that are also shared spaces with the lower unit.
- Like many Milwaukee homes, there is street parking only, but you should not have a problem finding a spot on the same block, or at the very worst, the next block up. Free 3 day visitor parking is available at www.city.milwaukee.gov

Please note: we do charge an additional fee for more than 5 adults. If you add more guests after your booking, please just message us and we can get the fees squared away ($50/person/night for guests more than 5).

Milwaukee stay

We were a group of 6 friends in town for a concert at Miller Park. Lots of room for everyone and great location! Very easy check in and out process!!

Good for a group!

This place is good for a group who wants to take advantage of the city since it's conveniently located to many locations on Brady and Water Street. It had enough bedrooms for our needs and the check in process was very straight forward.

Convenient and clean

This house was very economical and in a good location close to the city, yet calm and quiet of a neighborhood. The owners communication was really good and everything functioned as it should. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location! Walking distance to Brady Street, Water Street and Riverwalk with plenty of restaurants/coffee shops nearby. The description for parking was a little misleading by saying onsite parking when there is only street parking. That being said we didn't have any issues finding a parking spot. It was a very hot weekend and some of the rooms were a little warm even with the window AC units, maybe a few bigger fans to help circulate the air is needed. It was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Overall we were happy with this VRBO.

Great location

It was hot in Milwaukee when we visited, and the town house had air conditioning in all the main rooms. We were comfortable with all the amenities and especially appreciated the location. We easily walked to Summerfest and different bakeries, groceries, and restaurants in the neighborhood.

Bachelor Party

This was a great spot for a bachelor party. The location is right in the middle of things being an easy Uber or walk from many areas. The house has plenty of beds and fit our party of 8 without any issues.

In Town for Wedding

This upstairs flat is in a great location. Walkable to just about anywhere in Downtown and the Riverwalk attractions. Great place for a guys or girls trip. FYI- for summer visits the A/C is window and portable units so there can be some warm areas and rooms especially midday. It did cool nicely for sleeping. There are some steep stairs to get into the apartment. This is something to consider if anyone has mobility issues and for carrying up luggage. Owner, Nate, was outstanding to communicate with. He quickly responded to messages. He made it very easy for us and made some accommodations for our travel times. In short, we had a great visit and this place served our needs.

Awesome property! Great owner!

The property is off the beaten path, yet extremely convenient to get to downtown MKE. We travel to MKE annually, first time using VRBO. Our team of 6 loved the stay. Incredibly clean, very spacious, and plenty of amenities. Nate was fantastic, very accommodating, and incredibly responsive. Best experience we could’ve possibly had!

Great location with great friends

We stayed at this location for 4 nights and had a fabulous time. The two floors held an ample amount of space for the 6 of us. It lists that it would sleep 10 and it will, but it would be a bit tight in the kitchen and the dining room with that many. The location is very walkable to FiServ Forum, restaurants and bars on Brady street and Water Street. We walked from the apartment all the way to the Public Market and back again and it was very doable. Few things I would add to the house would be some better chairs out on the front porch that didn’t have broken seats, a few folding chairs that you could easily add around the dining room table which only sat 6 people and some more seating out in the back for a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine outside. Nate and his wife Jenny are wonderful hosts and responded very quickly to any of my questions. We would rent this spot again in a heartbeat if we have another “sisterhood” gathering in Milwaukee.

Place was in the perfect location and had ample space for everyone.

Great loacation, great space, and Nate was super responsive. Tenant downstairs makes it difficult for quiet hours but overall great experience.

Good Spot

This rental is well worth the price. It is in a cool neighborhood with nearby bars, restaurants, and shops and it is walkable to other areas. The house is spacious and worked well for me and my friends who went to Milwaukee for a couple Brewers games. The host Nate checked in right away to make sure we arrived and to see if we had any issues which we did not. I'd recommend staying here.
