Great view of the beach and pool. Place was super clean, and they even had chairs and sand toys for the beach. Great place for a family vacation.

Loved our stay!

The unit was clean, updated, and had everything we needed. The balcony view of the Gulf was beautiful, and being just steps from the beach made it easy to relax. The pool and courts were a nice bonus, and the location near the lighthouse was perfect.

This condo gave us a sense of calm the moment we walked in

Elevated on the second level, the view stretched wide across the shoreline, almost like a living painting. Inside, everything was crisp and thoughtfully arranged, with details that made daily life feel effortless. The atmosphere wasn't just comfortable; it was restorative, the kind of place that lingers in your memory long after you leave.

Excellent

What made this stay special was the rhythm of daily life here. Waking up to the soft light over the water, stepping out onto the balcony with coffee, and watching pelicans glide by became our favorite ritual. The condo itself was uncluttered and welcoming, giving us space to breathe and recharge. It felt less like a rental and more like a place designed for slowing down and savoring the island.

Wonderful family stay

We had a wonderful stay with family. The location was perfect and so close to the water. The rooms were impeccably clean. The decor was modern and beachy. The kitchen had all the tools we needed and having beach chairs and an umbrella was a nice perk as well. The pool was great with lots of seating. The hose to rinse off on our way off the beach was so helpful. Staff was always friendly and helpful. We are so happy we booked our stay at Sandalfoot and hope to be back again with our family is the future.

Short, sweet.. but accessible to all the fun things that Sanibel offers.

The pool was close by. They offered all kinds of amenities for the ocean. Boogie boards, chairs, etc.. I still felt that they were not yet completed with our unit. The mirror was still in the closet. We had no drawers or dressers to put our clothes in. There were hangers in the closet, but hard to access because of the large mirror in its way.

Sandal Foot June stay

I didn’t know we had to share a washer and dryer with other condos. For the price we paid, we should have had our own!!!

Hi Christa! Thank you for stopping in at Sandalfoot 2D2. Thank you for your feedback—we truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us. We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused by the shared laundry facilities, and we understand that having a private washer and dryer can make a stay more comfortable. While the unit does not include in-suite laundry, it does offer access to well-maintained, shared facilities on-site for guest use. We’ll review the listing to ensure this is clearly communicated moving forward. We hope you still had an enjoyable stay, and we’d love the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.

Excellent location, easy access to the beach, close to the lighthouse (10 min bike ride), pool was literally just down the stairs. Plenty of parking (at least in July!) We loved our stay here. We had 3 adults and a toddler. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. All appliances worked well. The unit was clean on arrival. Check in was easy. The unit was relatively quiet (could hear upstairs neighbors and people in the hall of they were loud). Beds were all comfortable. Host was responsive to all of our needs. Beach toys and umbrella chairs were provided which was a very nice touch! Plenty of towels for everyone. What would make it 5 stars: 1) Window coverings in the kitchen. There is a pull out couch which we did not have to use but if we did, the light from the kitchen in the living area would have woken the person using it up early. 2) Internet instructions weren't the most clear but the host was helpful and we got it working.3) the Roku TV remote was glitchy. Might not matter for some guests but at the end of a long day at the beach and pool we needed to keep the toddler occupied while we cooked and cleaned. We replaced the batteries but it didn't seem to help.4) AC was not very cool in the master bedroom but was very chilly in the queen bedroom despite manipulating the vents. This meant we had to freeze the person in the second bedroom so people in the master could be cool enough. 5) Shower was sometimes slow to drain so we'd be standing a puddle and then suddenly it

Hi Anne! Thank you for stopping in at Sandalfoot 2D2! Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review! We're absolutely delighted to hear that you loved the location, enjoyed the easy beach access and pool proximity, and found the home clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for your stay – especially with a toddler in tow! We're also so glad you found check-in smooth and appreciated the little extras like beach gear and plenty of towels. We really value your constructive feedback, too. Your points about the kitchen window covering, internet instructions, TV remote, AC balance, and slow-draining shower are all noted and genuinely helpful. We’ll look into each of these to improve the experience for future guests (and hopefully earn that fifth star from you next time!). Thanks again for being such considerate guests – we’d love to welcome you back anytime!
