Perfect Galveston base. Book your stay today. Planning a beach wedding or elopement? Optional add-on: As a licensed officiant, I can perform simple ceremonies right here in Galveston. Officiant services available upon request and subject to availability

This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of a thousand dollars (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $40 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.

Your guest portal includes advertisements with third-party upgrades that you may want to enhance your stay. These upgrades are optional and include:
Early Check-In: Early check-in is sometimes available, but not guaranteed. If the home is ready early, the hour before check-in time is always free, and if you’d like to get in earlier, it’s $15/hr.

Thank you for your feedback, Yolanda. For clarification, the listing does not advertise a washer or dryer, and none is provided at the property. Had you asked about laundry facilities before or during your stay, I would have been happy to clarify that. The door lock was also functioning properly during your stay and has continued to work normally for guests before and after your visit. Because some guests are unfamiliar with this type of lock, we provide step-by-step instructions and a video showing exactly how to lock and unlock the door. I wish you had reached out during your stay with either concern, as I would have been happy to assist. We work hard to provide clear listing information and detailed check-in instructions so guests know exactly what to expect.

Family-friendly, cozy and a more affordable option compared to other properties of similar location and size. Owner stays on the 2nd floor but the entire first floor is private enough. It has everything we needed for a short vacation. Me, my wife and my parents enjoyed our stay.

Quiet, private and clean

Everything was as advertised, quiet neighborhood, clean facility and was very private. My wife and I enjoyed the home very much and would defiantly use this home again in the future. In a great location and easy to access and parking was a breeze, we parked next to the yellow house across the street and had the same spot every time.

オーナーのプロフィール画像
I am a native Texan and married to an Okie and we have 2 kids. Grew up on the coast of Texas around Houston. Galveston has been a part of my life growing up, from sailing with my father, to going to the beaches. We are foodies, Comic-Con nerds and love to travel checking out all the Diners, Drives-ins and Dives we can find along the way. We are here most of the time. Love getting to know people and their story, but also respectful to guests' privacy. When you arrive, you might find us on our balcony enjoying the fresh gulf air.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We selected Galveston for a couple of compelling reasons. Firstly, we have dear friends in the area, and after visiting multiple times, we developed a strong affinity for the region. Additionally, as I mentioned earlier, I have deep-rooted memories from growing up in this area, making it even more special to me.

Allow me to introduce myself: I'm Chris, and I've dedicated my entire career to the hospitality industry. However, my lifelong aspiration has always been to own a Bed and Breakfast (BNB). After careful consideration, we decided to pursue the route of short-term rentals (STR) because it aligns with today's trends and offers a more streamlined and turnkey approach compared to a traditional BNB.

この宿泊施設の特徴

What drew us to this home were its distinctive style and the charm of its age. Its central location was another appealing aspect. Additionally, the historical significance of being part of the 1900 storm rebuild added to its allure. Situated on a corner, we are fortunate to have more parking space than most properties on the island.
