Welcome to your perfect four-season getaway nestled in the heart of Kingfisher Cove, a serene community of log homes just minutes from downtown Saugatuck. This luxurious log cabin offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, ideal for families, couples, or a group of friends looking to relax and explore the beauty of West Michigan.

Step outside your door and enjoy direct access to a scenic boardwalk leading to the shores of Goshorn Lake. Spend peaceful mornings fishing off the dock, or bring along a canoe or kayak for an afternoon paddle. During the summer months (Memorial Day to Labor Day), take advantage of the association swimming pool, perfect for cooling off after a day of biking or sightseeing.

Inside, cozy up by the gas fireplace on crisp autumn evenings or snowy winter nights or enjoy the 5 person hot tub on the covered screeded in porch all year around! Central air in the summer. The cabin sleeps up to 10 guests comfortably and features:

Bedroom 1: King bed

Bedroom 2: Queen bed

Bedroom 3: Two twin bunk beds (4 total single beds)

Loft area: Two twin pull-out beds

2 full bathrooms with shower/tub combos

You’ll also enjoy a private fire pit, a fully equipped kitchen, and all the comforts of home in a peaceful, wooded setting. The cabin is conveniently located near the bike path to town, a local ice cream shop, sports bar Restaurant (Spectators) and just a short drive or ride to the boutiques, restaurants, and galleries of downtown Saugatuck.

Whether you’re kayaking on the lake in summer, enjoying vibrant fall colors, hitting the slopes nearby in winter, or welcoming spring with a quiet retreat, this cabin is your year-round home away from home.

By renting this cottage the below is agreeing to the following terms:

Rental Rules (RULES ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED)

1.) No smoking. All of our rentals are non-smoking.
2.) You and your guests are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items. Any boats used on the property require life jackets be worn and are used at your own risk.
3.) No trailers are to be parked at our rental properties. Tents of any kind are not allowed. There is parking for TWO cars in front of cottage. Any more than 2 cars the association will have them towed. You can NOT park anywhere else on the property, only two cars in front of the cottage. you can NOT park in the grass. You can park in any legal spot in town.
4.) Do not move the furniture or take anything (including plates, dishes, silverware, etc.) out of the cottage it belongs to our you will be charged.
5.) Each cottage has a maximum number of guests that is listed on this contract you must verify that it is correct. That number is not to be exceeded - this includes children and adults. For fire safety, we are required to limit the number in each home. If additional people are found to be staying at the cottage the entire group will be asked to vacate with no refund. Inflatable mattresses or alternative sleeping other than pack n plays or cribs are not allowed. Tents are also not allowed on the property.
6.) Pets are not permitted. If a pet is on the property then there will be a $1500 fee and it will be required that the owner board the pet immediately.
7.) Damages are to be reported during your stay. If we find damage after you vacate, you authorize the charge to your credit card for replacement or repair or provide another credit card number, pay by cash or check. Damages reported upon arrival will not be guests' responsibility.
8.) Cleaners will come to the cottage after you have departed - they will not visit to clean, change linens, or replace towels during your stay. Please contact the office should you need assistance during your stay regarding any cleaning items.
9.) Grills are to be cleaned after each use.
10.) Quiet time is after 10pm nightly. We do not tolerate loud groups and college like parties anytime of the day or night. Drinking games are not allowed on the property. Neighbors must NOT hear you inside or outside the cottage after 10pm.
11.) You are at least 25 years old and will be able to verify with valid identification during your stay if needed.
12.) Weddings, and formal events are NOT permitted on our properties, if there is found to be a formal event on the property the entire group will be asked to vacate the property with a no refund. It is acceptable to have a visitors during the day hours but that number can not be more than 1.5 the maximum occupancy of the cottage. Only guests staying overnight at the cottage can use the outdoor amenities.
13.) Pool/beach towels are NOT provided. You will need to bring them. Do not use bath towels at the pool or beach or extra charges will be added to your stay.
14.) This is an associaton pool and there is no Life Guard on duty at the pool. All children must be attended at all times. You must be a guest of Timber Nest cottage to use the pool. Use the pool at your own risk. All posted pool rules are to be followed. Pool is to be used at your own risk and Quaint Cottages nor the homeowner will not be responsible for any injuries related to such. There is no lifeguard on duty you are using the pool at your own risk. No soaps in the pool or hot tub. Please rinse yourself off before entering the pool. Pool is for use of only guests that are staying at Timber Nest. Outside guests may not use the pool as the pool area does not have the capacity to handle it. Pool is family friendly and appropriate behavior is expected.
15.) Gas fireplace is available in the fall/winter months only.
16.) Fireworks are prohibited on property at all times.
17.) Guests may enjoy the boardwalk and dock on Goshorn Lake as well as launch kayaks, canoes. You are using at your own risk and owner will not be responsible for any accidents that may or could occur. Nobody is ever allowed to go out on the ice if there is ice on the lake.

*Disclosure: There may be cameras with sound at outside entrances of cottages ONLY.

These rules are strictly enforced due to NEW city and township ordinances. This contract is the only warning you will get. If any rules are not followed all local fines, security deposits and any other charges will be charged to guest and the entire group will be asked to vacate the property. This communication is necessary so that your vacation experience is a good one for your group and our neighboring community. Please ENJOY your stay!
