We loved Hummingbird House. Spacious, comfortable, clean, everything one needs for cooking, even a piano! Plus, great location, quiet neighborhood but very near amenities and central to ABQ's many offerings. Also appreciated is that no scented products or fragrances are used on the premises--it is just fresh and clean. We hope to stay there again, whenever we're in town.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The decor is absolutely amazing, and if you love the coziness of vintage midcentury, this stay will do your soul well. We loved the architecture of the home, the perfectly decorated rooms, the Southwestern rugs, the small touches of hospitality and the kindness of the hostess. We really couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I actually had a moment where I stood looking around the bedroom in the evening, when the lights were low and cozy … just trying to soak up the vibe so I could revisit it in my memory. I loved this house that much. We give our stay all of the stars and then some. Thank you!

Super cool home. Comfy and cozy. We enjoyed our stay here. Decent location, mostly quiet neighborhood. Easy check in and check out.FYI there isn't a TV, but there are a few board games and other things to do if you're looking to just lounge around at any point. Thanks for a great stay!

This was absolutely the most perfect place for our family of four (2 adults, kids 1112). We loved the pool of course, with a diving board and a deep end, and there were many different seating areas inside and out where we enjoyed activities like, board games, jigsaw puzzle, Lego construction and reading! The 1 level layout with en-suite primary bedroom and a jack and Jill bathroom for the kids was great. It felt like we could all be doing our own thing, and still be together. Vivian was very thoughtful in providing everything guests might need. Kitchen was well stocked, stacked washer and dryer in the kitchen/pantry was very convenient.Lastly, when considering places for our family to stay it always feels like we have to compromise our adult aesthetic and preferences for a kid friendly environment. Hummingbird House is a total exception to that. We fell in love with the design of the house and the mid century furnishings. The art, the accents, even the glassware added touches of character that are often difficult to find in houses that are generically furnished for rental purposes. What a soul-nourishing experience.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I’m thrilled to hear that Hummingbird House was the perfect fit for your family and that everyone, from the kids to the adults, had such a great time. It means a lot that you appreciated the design details and thoughtful touches; I truly believe a home should feel both beautiful and welcoming for all ages. I loved hosting your family and would be delighted to welcome you back anytime!Warmly,Vivian

Hummingbird is heavenly!

Hummingbird House was the perfect base for our trip. We had such a wonderful 2-week stay at this quiet adobe home. It felt both spacious and welcoming and it was ideal for our visit which combined work and exploring Albuquerque with so many wonderful things to do and great restaurants to eat at. The kitchen is fully equipped – almost like a chef set it up – which was terrific especially when we tried to make southwestern meals of our own. Plus, the hosts were super communicative and helpful as we were setting up our stay. The house has a soothing feel as you take in the beautiful Territorial design with adobe walls, soft colors and views of the Sandia Mountains. Every corner feels calm and full of character which makes it a wonderful place to relax after a day out. We are also big foodies and loved cooking in the kitchen which was so well appointed and had everything we needed. The location could not be better. In just a few minutes we could pick up groceries at Trader Joe’s or Target, grab coffee or swing by the outdoor mall with the Apple Store. When we wanted to get away from it all the mountains and hiking trails were only about fifteen minutes from the front door which made mornings and evenings especially lovely. The adobe house itself is storied and was designed by a noted architect with beautiful art and furniture throughout. Every room felt thoughtfully put together and full of character. It is a special place to be all day or to come back to at the end of the day and we would happily stay here again.
