Fantastic house. Would definitely rent here again. Outstanding location. Beautiful view of mountains, very close to museums, galleries and restaurants. Great house for bringing a pet. Especially enjoyed seeing stars in the early morning, double rainbows after afternoon rains, and hummingbirds. Loved this house.

It is a very nice home. Improvements could be made: dishwasher doesn’t work/ we did call it in ; not enough cookware, small pot to cook pasta; knives very dull and cheap, couldn’t even slice bread;; lighting is very dim; outdoor barbecue grill is warn and rotting on the bottom, reason for grease to fall through. These are all things that need attention, however not enough to keep us from coming back. This house has a wonderful view, distance to town and other places is good, and it’s a cozy place. The beds were super comfy but having a tv in all bedrooms is just a suggestion.

Great house! Everything we needed for a wonderful stay. It’s a short drive to Taos ski resort. We will stay here again!

My husband and dogs loved our stay at the little hacienda, which was attractive, clean, well-appointed, and comfy with some fun extras!-Here are some things we learned-* IGNORE the Google Maps instructions on how to get to the rental. Much easier to turn onto Lower Las Colonias from Hwy 64. *Eat at Gutiz in Taos for at least one breakfast/lunch. If you get the French Toast, be warned that all other French Toast will be a let down. *Artisans worth seeing set up at the rest stop at the Rio Grande Bridge on the weekends. Pack a lunch if you want, because the bridge and gorge are a must see and there are many walking trails and photo opps. Hwy 64.*The Earthship Visitor Center is also on Hwy. 64. Go. You can make a house out of what?* Some rentals have lots of condiments/oils in the kitchen. This one has salt/pepper/some spices, so if you intend to cook, bring all the food items you need. *Drive the Enchanted Loop. Linger on Eagle Nest's cute 'main street', and then, in Red River. If it's not too cold, end your loop at the Taos Cow in Arroyo Seco for their wildly popular homemade ice cream.* Take 64 through Eagle Nest and over the Ute Pass to Cimarron, a true wild west town. Eat at the historic St. James Hotel. Read up on the history. Those bullet holes are real.*** Have a wonderful time! Taos and surrounding areas are magical, heart-poundingly beautiful places and you are going! I can say with utter confidence that you will be back!
