Excellent home to stay with family! We had an absolute blast! Walking distance to some great restauraunts, incredible view from the rooftop and such a short distance from the beach! The house was pretty clean upon arriving. Did find a couple of what i hope to be stains on a decorative pillow case and a mattress cover but all of the linens that were actively in contact with us were nice and clean. Couldve used a few more bath towels but the washer and dryer were nice and clean and worked just fine for laundering them in between uses. Bring your own spices for food and soaps to wash your hands and dishes. There were facial soap bars in all the bathrooms but not actual hand soap. There was also lots of beach gear like chairs, toys and a cart that were at the house that was really nice to have. The cart was especially useful. LOVED the rooftop porch! It provided a very nice nearly bug free environment to watch the waves, sunrise, sunset and looking for shooting stars! Overall a fanatastic place to stay and I would 100% stay again!

The house is amazing! It was clean and charming. The location is wonderful! Just steps to the beach and a short walk to shops and restaurants. It is also across from the grocery store which was very nice. We really enjoyed our first visit to Tybee and I would definitely recommend staying here! The whole process from booking, check- in, and check-out could not have been easier!

Relaxation

My family and I spent a week relaxing celebrating my 50th birthday. The house was awesome. We enjoyed the roof top deck and sat up there Sunday morning to watch our church service online. Very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Short walk to put your toes in the sand. The owner and property management team are great. Spacious rooms. The dining room table sat our entire family. Short walk to restaurants and stores. We will definitely rent again.

Wonderful house for a large grouo

The proximity to the beach can’t be beat and the house is beautiful and comfortable for a large group. I’d love to rent this home again, it’s the best rental we’ve booked on Tybee! Oh - and the roof top deck was delightful!

A Little Piece of Serenity

We had the most Amazing time at this beautiful beach house. There was plenty of space for our entire family. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and we had plenty of towels. The rooftop deck was a wonderful addition where we could watch the sun rise over the ocean. The location was perfect- close to the beach but on a quiet street with no traffic. The check-in / check-out process was quick and easy, and the Owners (Jack and Dee) were prompt to answer any questions and very accommodating. We will definitely be back again!

Girls trip!

The stay was amazing, we had the best ocean view on the block with the rooftop patio. There were a couple of things such as the lower level sofa bed didn't work. I also saw a spider in the bed when I pulled back the sheets to disinfectant. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this property to friend and family. The walk to the main strip is only 12mins and the walk to the beach was only 2mins. The communication with the property manager was simple and easy. I was able to hire a outside company (shout-out to Planning Savy) to come and decorate for the birthday girl, they were able to also easily communicate to get in the house early to set up. The price was pretty affordable when booking ahead and splitting the price between 10 people. Overall great experience. Thanks so much!

Awesome Property

Beautiful home within walking distance to the beach. There were 10 of us celebrating a 70th birthday. This house really fit the bill for what we were looking for. The house was clean and nicely decorated. We felt like we were at a beach house. The next time that I visit Tybee Island I will definitely seek out this house.

Perfect for our group

We had 11 teen Girl Scouts and 2 leaders for a 4-night stay. It was perfect for our group — plenty of room, plenty of bathrooms, plenty of dishes. Easy access to the beach, easy to get on the road into Savannah. It was very clean and well-appointed. Also, we needed to change our dates (our spring break changed) shortly after booking and the hosts were very easy to work with to make that change.

Girls Trip for 9 BFFs

Plenty of room for 9 people. 5 bedrooms and bathrooms made it so comfortable for us to stay at this beautiful home. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great location. I highly recommend this home for large families or groups.

Great Location but Lacking in Comfort

This beach house was in a great location with an easy walk (long boardwalk) to a beautiful beach. You can’t see the beach at all unless you are on the rooftop balcony which was very neat but difficult to use often with littles. The house is part of a duplex which was not mentioned in the description. We were not affected by the attached property’s residents at all though. The house was a bit more rustic than we are used to but had plenty of space for our party of 13. Having the crib and 3 full sized refrigerators on the property was nice. Bring a crib sheet if you intend to use the crib. The mattresses in some of the rooms were extremely uncomfortable. A couple were way too firm—like very hard. One was concave where the couple rolled to the middle when they tried to sleep. Also, some of the rooms got too warm for our tastes. One couple purchased a fan for their room. My husband slept on the couch in the bottom unit as the bedroom in the unit didn’t stay cool enough for him. Overall we had a great stay on Tybee and appreciated the easy access to the most beautiful beach.

No air conditioning, hard , lumpy bed on ground level, some dirty pits and floors were not clean.

We had to wait until almost 6;00 PM to check in. The reason was there was a cleaning emergency. The floors dud not feel clean and we notice later just how dirty our feet were. There was no working air conditioning on the upper, main two levels. My husband did finally get the air conditioning started. He thought it was working because our kids would not say anything. The trip is always our gift to our family so they were trying to not complain. By Thursday it was nearly 80 degrees on the upper floor where most of the family slept. My husband looked and the heat pumps are ancient. There was very little resolution to the issue. There was no offer to refund partial payment for the inconveniences. We will return to Tybee because we love it there but this house is definitely off our list. Until there are upgrades to the bed on the lowest level, more setting to accommodate a party of 9 or more and new heat pumps or air conditikning we will never stay at this house again.

Great home but broken AC

Beautiful home and great location. This would have been the perfect vacation had the AC worked. We had to buy fans to be able to sleep in two of the rooms. HVAC rep told us owners were aware of the old unit but haven’t replaced it. Called for a miserable week of no sleep. Other than being hot, it was a beautiful home.

Great Trip! Would definitely come back!

We had a fantastic week! We had 9 adults and 6 kids and never had any issues with hot water in showers/baths! We walked to the grocery store, dinner, and to the public beach area with shops. We will definitely stay here again. I do have some suggestions… 1) the posting claims to have spices in the kitchen and there wasn’t even salt and pepper, so be sure to bring it, or buy it. 2) every mattress has lived its life and could use replacing. My husband and I had the master and slept on a king but there was such a large divot on both sides, it might as well have been twin beds. 3) We had an infant with us and the crib mattress is dangerously soft. We were not able to use it.
