Like many areas of New Orleans, the neighborhood is undergoing some renovations just like this house did. Some homes have been completely restored and others are awaiting their salvation! While some spots in the area may look a little rough, we've never experienced any safety issues here and our neighbors are wonderful people!

Mid-City has a way of pulling you in slowly - the sound of a brass band drifting from a nearby bar, the smell of chicory coffee from a corner café, the warmth of a porch light at dusk. This classic New Orleans shotgun home drops you right into that rhythm, tucked into one of the city's most walkable and beloved neighborhoods.
 
Living space
Tall windows draw in natural light throughout the home, casting a warm glow across curated décor and stylish furnishings that reflect the city's unmistakable character. The traditional shotgun layout - rooms connected one after another in a row - is as much a part of the New Orleans story as the music and the food. A sound system, TV, and Ethernet connection keep you entertained on quieter nights in.
 
Sleeping arrangements
Two bedrooms offer a comfortable retreat after long days out in the city. Each is dressed in soft linens and plush bedding, with room-darkening shades, extra pillows, and blankets to help you settle in properly. Keep in mind that the classic shotgun layout means you'll pass through one bedroom to reach the next - this is the authentic New Orleans experience, and part of the home's charm.
 
Kitchen & dining
The fully stocked kitchen is set up for everything from a slow weekend breakfast to evening cocktail prep. You'll find a refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster, and baking sheet, along with wine glasses, cooking basics, dishes, and silverware. Coffee is provided to get your mornings started. Pull up a chair at the dining table and ease into the day before heading out.
 
Bathroom
The bathroom includes a bathtub and shower, with all the essentials taken care of - shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, hair dryer, and cleaning products are all provided so you can pack light.
 
Outdoor living
Step out into the fully fenced backyard and you've got your own private slice of New Orleans evenings. Gather around the fire pit, settle into the outdoor furniture, and let the night stretch out at its own pace. The BBQ is ready when you are, and the whole yard is pet-friendly - your four-legged travel companions are welcome here too.
 
Convenience & comfort
Air conditioning, ceiling fans, and heating keep things comfortable whatever the season. A washer and dryer, iron, hangers, and essentials like towels, bed sheets, soap, and toilet paper are all included. The home has a private entrance and smart lock for easy, flexible self check-in. Free street parking is available right outside, and the single-level layout means no stairs to navigate.
 
Neighborhood
Mid-City puts you close to everything worth doing in New Orleans without the noise of the Quarter. Trader Joe's, local cafés, and the streetcar line are all within walking distance, giving you a direct connection to City Park, the French Quarter, and the Superdome. It's a strong base for Jazz Fest, Mardi Gras, Saints games, and everything in between.
