Bywater has a way of drawing you in - its painted shotgun houses, second-line parades drifting past, the smell of coffee and beignets in the air. This two-bedroom home plants you right in the middle of it all, giving you a base that feels as lived-in and soulful as the neighborhood itself.
 
Living space
The shotgun layout opens up in all the right ways, with natural light streaming through the front to back. The living room is set up for easy evenings in - settle into the seating area, pull up something on the Smart TV with streaming, or gather around for a board game. The standout feature here is the in-home bar, stocked and ready for you to mix classic New Orleans cocktails without leaving the house.
 
Sleeping arrangements
Two bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom, give everyone in your group room to breathe. Both are set up with quality linens, hangers, and clothing storage so you can unpack properly and settle in for the duration.
 
Kitchen & dining
A fully equipped kitchen means you are never at the mercy of restaurant hours. The fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher are all here, along with a coffee maker, hot water kettle, toaster, baking sheet, wine glasses, cooking basics, and a full set of dishes and silverware. The dining table pulls it all together for a proper sit-down meal whenever you want one.
 
Outdoor living
Out back, a private patio with outdoor furniture gives you somewhere to land between adventures - morning coffee, evening wine, or just some fresh air. It is a quiet counterpoint to everything buzzing just outside the front door.
 
Practicalities
In-unit washer and dryer, air conditioning, ceiling fans, heating, a dedicated workspace, and self check-in via smart lock round out the everyday essentials. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and cleaning products are provided. Free street parking is available, and the single-level layout means no stairs throughout the home. A smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit are all in place. A Pack 'n play/travel crib is available for families traveling with little ones, along with babysitter recommendations on request.

Bywater sits in a sweet spot - close enough to the French Quarter to feel the pulse of the city, far enough to feel like a real neighborhood. Crescent Park is minutes from your door, and the stretch of local cafés, art studios, and dining spots lining the streets makes it easy to fill your days without going far. Less than two miles separates you from the heart of the French Quarter, so the city's most iconic stretch is always within reach.
