Oh so private and perfectly perched, this Point Roberts cottage studio boasts pristine views of the Strait of Georgia, Vancouver Island, and the passing ferries to/from the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal. With its unforgettable location and expansive outdoor space, your time spent enjoying the fresh sea breeze will come effortlessly. Less than 10 steps down from the patio, find yourself on the sand, enjoying the beach.

-- THE PROPERTY --

Inside, the lovely interior is composed of warm wood and rustic finishes. Boasting all of the essentials, the studio is complete with plush sleeping arrangements, a kitchenette, and a sizable bathroom. Partial air-conditioning and a space heater ensure your comfort no matter the season.

Back outside, cozy up, and prepare for radiant sunset views on the private patio.

Away from your stay, visit the area's plethora of parks, Cascades Casino Delta, or take a day trip to Vancouver BC. The Ferry Terminal is roughly 20 minutes away and SeaTac Airport is roughly three hours away.

Great directions, easy key pad check in, incredible ocean view. We loved hearing the waves crash in all day and all night with windows open. What a treat!

Although quite minimalistic, the Half Shell provided everything that we needed for our 2 night stay. Even though it was in another country, it was extremely close to the people that we were visiting in Delta, BC & crossing the border was very easy. We loved the view of the Strait of Georgia through the picture windows. The moon shining on the water was spectacular. We woke up to a deer walking through the shallows & a bald eagle gliding overhead.It’s a great spot for some R & R!

Half Shell Hideaway

We loved our stay at the Half Shell. The views were amazing, the widelife (birds) abundant, and the peace and serenity exactly what we were looking for. Having pictures of the kitchenette in the listing would have been helpful. It was a pleasant surprise. Although we didn't cook, it had everything we would have needed to make a small meal. Everything went smoothly and we look forward to staying at this location again really soon.

Snug as a bug

Great location, right on the beach and the Snug is perfect for 2 people. For a small space, it is very functional and the bed is super comfy. The bathroom was lovely and the cleanliness was top notch. Ocean view from the little eating bar in the kitchen and and an ocean view while laying in bed. While the stairs can seem a bit daunting, they are good for your glutes!

Magical!

It was beautiful! Full moon set over the water with a bright light trail to me. New picture windows have a wonderful view from bed.The kitchenette was new and pristine. Stove top, microwave toaster. Sitting at the bar looking out at the view was wonderful. The website is inaccurate and not up to date which worked in my favor.

Quaint Little Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at The Half Shell. A bit small, but very bright & quaint. Enjoyed the ocean views. We lucked out our first night, as no one occupied the top half of the house. Second night some thumping around/foot steps from the upstairs neighbours. Other than that, we very much enjoyed our stay. Liked how central the property was to everything. Good walking distance from a restaurant/pub, cafe & liquor store. Would definitely stay again.
