Spend your days in this gorgeous 1,846 sf, two-story Carmel-by-the-Sea cottage bordering downtown. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home is full of French Country charm, accompanied by a fantastic light and a spacious feeling that is unusual in many Carmel homes. Located near Sunset Center and Carmel Plaza, and an easy walk to any downtown Carmel restaurants, galleries and boutique shops. It is easy to live like a local from this well-equipped vacation home and venture out to Monterey Peninsula, Pebble Beach®, Carmel Valley and Big Sur destinations to explore the central coast each day.

Living Space
Enter the home into an inviting living room with hardwood floors, pitched ceiling, board and batten walls and a Carmel stone wood burning fireplace.
A separate family room can also serve as bedroom #3 and it has comfortable slip-covered furniture, a TV, a wood burning fireplace and a queen Murphy bed along with an en suite full bathroom. (See more details below.)

Kitchen and Dining
The dining area has seating for six and a large pass-through to the kitchen which can be a wonderful serving area.
Wood floors flow seamlessly into the beautifully updated fully-equipped kitchen with a Viking gas range and a stainless steel refrigerator surrounded by exposed brick. The a small table and three chairs are nestled up along a wall of windows - a perfect, sunny spot to start the day - and a glass door leads to the back deck.

Outside
The backyard is fenced for privacy and has a spacious wrap-around deck with a dining table that seats four and BBQ grill.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Upstairs:
Bedroom #1 is the primary suite with a king four-poster bed, TV, a small balcony overlooking the Carmel tree tops and an en suite bathroom with double sinks and a standing shower.
Bedroom #2 is a spacious upstairs bedroom with a bunk bed with a twin on top and a full/double on the bottom and a window seat. (Please note that the only bathroom on this level is accessed via Bedroom #1.)
Downstairs:
Bedroom #3 can be used as a bedroom or as a family room - or both! It has a custom-made queen size Murphy bed. This room also has a sofa, TV, reading area, a wood-burning fireplace with a gas starter, direct access through a Dutch door to the wrap around deck, and its own private bathroom with a standing shower plus a separate bathtub
There is a half bathroom downstairs near the living areas.

The house has a 1-car garage with indoor access and a driveway that is available for one additional car.

The washer and dryer are located in the garage.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.

This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner.
